Lexus is so leader material, I think Lexus, Camila and Savannah are the ones who HAVE to debut, no matter what are the others’ results.

I know why JYP favors Kendall. It’s because she “looks like a kpop idol”, her mannerisms, the shy personality, she’s “easy to mold”, she also fits the beauty standards and she has a charisma that would be very talked about in Korea because she is spontaneous and very direct. She can also “do it all”, singing and dancing in a way that JYP likes: which is with no habits. They can sculpt her into whatever they want and I think this is her strong point.

Lexus got voted by her peers as favorite teammate and by instructors as most passionate. That says alot.

JYP likes visuals. He’s always searching for the next Suzy. He found Ayaka and was obsessed😂. Now it’s kendall. I think kendall will make a great idol. Her skills are stable enough the blend in with the debut group. Realistically, in the kpop world, visuals are extremely important. She’ll bring a lot of fans to the group just like the other girls

I really like lexus, she has a beautiful soul, she is an amazing dancer, and with some training, she could be a decent vocalist. She's a well rounded girl. I love the fact that she was a ballerina, since i do ballet too, i instantly noticed her

Lexus kinda reminds me of Minho when jype said his vocals weren’t strong on the survival show (I think he was just nervous he has a beautiful voice) he is the best dancer in the group. After debut his vocals shown great improvement and he sings a lot of their falsettos and soft vocal/high parts. I can see Lexus in the group as the main dancer too. Her vocals will improve with encouragement and practice and she’ll gain more confidence 🙏🏽

My top 5: 1.Camila.. she's just that girl 2.Melissa: too bad if she didn't made it to Korea 'cause honestly with some work on her dancing (that for me is not that necessary) and she would be unstoppable 3. Savanna: If she works on her vocals and put a little bit of emotion into it, she honestly would become one of the strongest 4. Lexus: Same she needs to work in her vocals but it is possible 5. Christina: I love her, with vocal lessons she would do a good element to the team The rest are all talented KG is my #6 she honestly just lacks in stage presence and time would help with that (so not a big deal) Yuna needs to trust in herself more (she definitely has the star quality), but honestly Gina and Kaylee are way too young (plus Kaylee brokes with the slight criticism, she doesn't seem ready for the public), Kendall needs to work in vocals and dance, Mischa i jut haven't see that much of her and i blame the show for it

The issue is I don’t think JYP understands what the US market wants. I love this concept because the Kpop industry makes better performers and they could easily out perform US artists if executed well, but JYP needs to blend the two industries more. I mean look at how his groups end up: they get big at first but then loose popularity because of bad songs and execution once they branch out!

My perfect group would be Lexi, Camila, Savannah, Christina, KG, Gina for sure and Kaylee and Yuna as runner ups. It would be awesome if all 8 made it but that is definitely my top 6. They balance because some are stronger dancers, singers, rappers, and visuals. I can't wait to see them DEBUT!!! ♥❤‍🔥💯 P.S no hate, but I just don't understand the hype over Kendall. Yuna (yes I know, she doesn't have the skills, but her charisma is very enticing and I relate a lot to her personality) 4. Lexi (I understand the appeal, and she definitely deserves a place just based on her dance skills alone) 5. KG (I can tell she's legit about this - whenever people critiqued her, she works on her mistakes immediately and she has a great voice too) The others are ok. I feel like we're supposed to like Gina, but I can't see her personality shine through so idk. Same with Christina, I just can't seem to connect to her. I genuinely care for all of the girls but I definitely feel the exception here is Mischa. And I blame it somewhat on JYP for not giving her screen time.

I completely agree about Kendall. I was shocked when he got the vocal stone due to mediocre facial expressions and as jyp basically meant, “bad vocals.” And then proceeded not to give Kaylee the stone when she easily outperformed Kendall in terms of the vocals themselves. I’m also shocked she placed so high for everything, her dancing skills are also mid compared to Lexus, Christina, and savanna, and other contestants displayed more star quality imo, like Camilla rapping and Lexus literally dancing the complete opposite of what she did before. There’s a reason she didn’t get the character vote from the other girls, and I don’t think it’s because she’s the favorite but it just rubbed me the wrong way. She seems like a nice girl overall though and she can definitely improve. She’ll likely be going to Korea anyway since she has all the stones and if her team performs well which I’m sure they will she will get the character stone right away and Kaylee will probably go as well.

I'm really hoping Lexus makes it. I started watching this show specifically because of her because I'm also Hmong. But when I saw her perform, I realized that she's actually just a really amazing performer. I think she's good enough to go mainstream whether it's with JYP or somewhere else. I just hope she has a strong support system that can guide her on a good path and not into predatory contracts and harmful deals which are all too common in the entertainment industry.

Kaylee is incredibly sweet, and charming, it's hard not to love her, but I can't get over the fact that she... seems so much like a kid, because, well, she is. I wish we wouldn't debut girls that young.

I agree with you about Kendall,JYP is so biased with her.I know she improved in dancing,but her dance technique is really poor(Lexi,Savanna,Gina,Christina were better). Also,her vocal performance was terrible,she didn’t show her full voice(she sang only in falsetto),very underdeveloped vocal technique,very thin notes and her facial expressions weren’t as good as JYP said.

To the people saying they don't understand the hype with Kendall, well I will clearly tell you. SHE'S PRETTY, that's it. She meets the Korean beauty standards perfectly. I know this is going to be an American group, but remember that JYP IS STILL KOREAN even if he speaks English perfectly.

Savanna gives me the same vibes as Jay from Enhypen lmao they have a laid back and relaxed demeanor because they’re confident yet also very self aware. They know it’s best to not get caught up in feeling bad for themselves or feeling like they’re not good enough and things like that. And when they are feeling that way, they can get really fired up lol people like them have very strong principles and they aren’t afraid to stand up for themselves when undervalued/misunderstood. And on top of that, they’re both also like mood makers and know how to not take themselves seriously during light hearted times. I really like people with those types of personalities lol easygoing yet strong and firm. They’re very reliable

Lexi used to be on a kpop dance team that my former team used to compete against. Didn't know her personally but I've heard a lot of good things about her from people on my former team who had danced with her. Not really watching the show but silently rooting for her in the background.

My favorite is Cristina! I feel like she's so underrated now, I was absolutely amazed when I saw her dancing, with some vocal training I can see her being an all rounder. I was pretty annoyed when her star quality performance was cut out, spotlight is always on the same contestants, I don't know what to say. Other contestants I appreciate are Kendall (she seems genuine and has a lot of potential), Camila (changed my mind after seeing her outstanding vocals) and Savanna (she seems really sweet and she is constantly getting better). I feel like JYP already knew Mischa wouldn't have a chance, they edit her out most of time. Kinda unfair if you ask me. About Yuna... She is gentle and nice, but I honestly don't see that much potential, unfortunately I only see a pretty face :(( Melissa is so good. As a soloist tho. Can't see in the group unfortunately. Kaylee and Gina are so young. Kaylee is really brilliant considering her age, Gina is already pretty good, but considering their age... I don't like them as much as I like the other contestants. KG gave me a bad impression at first. But she demonstrated great adaption skills! Her vocals are amazing, and while strong, they would absolutely fit in a group! She also takes criticism very well and learns from her mistakes. Lexus is the only one I don't know how to feel about. She's absolutely great, but I feel like there's too much hype from fans. Don't get me wrong, I just wish she didn't choose God's Menu for her dance performance, I don't feel like it was the best choice to showcase her strength and talent. She seems down to earth and I appreciate her for that, she definitely has what it takes to make it! But I see a lot of favoritism from fans haha This show is so interesting, first time that I watch one and I always look forward to the next episode!

My unbiased ranking: 1) Camila - She can dance, sing, and rap very well, and she also has a great personality and is a naturally born leader. 2) Gina - Another all-rounder who excels at every skill, and her training definitely shows. 3) Lexi/Lexus - Although she tends to lack at singing, during her showcase performance, she was able to prove that she can maintain a stable voice while dancing extraordinarily well. She also seems like a great leader. 4) Savannah - Similar to the case of Lexus, she can dance well, but her singing tends to lack. 5) KG - Although her dancing is not up-to-par, she is a great singer and has shown immense improvement with her dancing throughout the show. 6) Kaylee - She is very young but is skilled with dancing and singing. Unfortunately, she is very young and seems to not do as well when under pressure. 7) Cristina - Bias-wise, she would be higher, but skill-wise, this rank fits her. She lacks with singing and has not greatly improved throughout the show, but her dancing skills have definitely become better and more refined. Her personality also shines as she is very supportive to her members. 8) Yuna - I would have ranked her bottom 2 before seeing the showcase performance, where her stable voice and dancing skills were better than ever. She managed to stay mostly on-beat, which was a common issue for her, and I can see her improving more over time. 9) Melissa - Although she is one of the best vocalists on the show, her dancing is below average, which can especially be seen during the showcase performance. Being a great vocalist means there is more leniency for dancing, but unlike KG, the other contestant who was in the same position as her, she has not improved whatsoever and it makes the performance seem less impactful. 10) Kendall - Unfortunately, she does not stand out skill-wise, as both her dancing and vocals are average. 11) Mischa - It's a shame that she barely gets any screentime on the show, but from what has been shown, Mischa lacks in all areas.

I mean i get that people say that kaylee is too young but if people can accept other idols to debut at that age such as eunchae or the maknae of new jeans i feel like she can do it too its basically the same thing

My personal top 3 in no particular order would be Melissa, Gina and Kendall. What’s funny is that I used to dislike Melissa’s vibe because she seemed to be a little distant? to the others but then I realized how wrong I was about her and she has an amazing voice and great songwriting abilities (I acc cried during her star quality performance). I love Gina for obvious reasons and I really like her vibe as well, not so much to say on her. Lastly, I think the reason why I love Kendall so much is that she loves art lol. I love art in most forms myself so I feel instantly drawn to people who are good at it and who actually find comfort and try to express themselves through it. I also love singing and we have a very similar vocal color/tone which also helps. I feel like we would get along really well irl. My two other favorites would be Savanna and Lexus.

I honestly think they are favored because they’re white (imo). obviously they fit the beauty standards the most so ofc they would get a higher ranking because we all know k-pop favors visual over talent. there are more talented/skilled contestants (camila, melissa, lexi, christina). but nonetheless they all have potential/talent.

personally speaking i wouldn't give a cent if you want for yuna but after the performance of the feels she blew my mind with the com expressive and stable she is singing live i am very surprised and after this performance she automatically rose in my rank and I really hope to see more evolution on her part and see if she really can improve more and more

Cristina 18: She’s a good dancer to the group even JYP praised her dance skills, and i see a good potential on her singing. 👍🏻 3. Yuna 18: After saw the recent showcase, she has potential singing but lack confidence when singing alone. And she has good star quality. Not my top pick but she deserve to go to the 2nd round training in Korea. 👍🏻 4. Lexus 17: Good dancer and stable singing. Too bad she didn’t get her vocal stones. Overall she’s a good quality for the future group. 🤩 5. Savanna 17: At first I’m a bit indecisive with her, she’s similar to Yuna. I see her potential and she deserve to go to the 2nd round in Korea. 👍🏻 6. KG Crown 16: I love her enthusiasm and improvements. She’s lacking in dance for sure but I love her energy in CKC. Even though she still young, and if we can assume the proper debut is next year she will be 15 so I can tolerate for her to debut. 🤩 Not sure: 8. Kendall 17: I haven’t see her good qualities. Her dance moves is not that sharp and power. Her singing was average. She’s a preserve person, not mingle with everyone due to her focus on her practice. So I have doubts on her 9. Kaylee 13: stable singing and great in stage presence. But she’s too young. I think Gina would be the minimum age that i can tolerate. Will see how JYP decides. Eliminate: 10. Melissa 18: She’s great singing but her dance moves is not improving. Perhaps JYP see her more into solo potential compare to group. + She already active on social media 11. Mischa 14: Poor her, her screen time is the least. I can’t even proper give comments about it. Pray the best for her future + Active on her social media

agreed on the KG one, the star quality performance was SO random lol but she has SO much potential, she’s got a great voice and she’s shown that she can improve on things incredibly quickly. sucks that she won’t be going to korea, but I’m sure this was a valuable experience for her and the other girls who unfortunately didn’t make it. what i hate abt a2k is how mediocre everything is... they clearly only let visuals on the show. there are no dark skinned individuals or anyone with genuine performance enthusiasm. i agree they should go all vocalists in order to be successful. camilla, mellissa, and kg should be automatic debuts. i agree kg's movements are a little cringey but she's clearly showing that she wants to get better and dancing is A LOT easier to fake than singing. idk i just feel like the whole show is so... manufactured for us to like it.

Yes!! Agree with everything you said!!! To add, for Lexi, she had no singing training but SO much potential! She just needs the right range, song, and training. It’s truly a loss if JYP let her go but it looks promising. She’s a favorite and likeable among all of them. I love her and Camila as well. It’s also going to be a loss for letting Melissa go.. she has a different color to her voice that will just add to the vocals in the group.

Unpopular opinion, but I think Yuna might not have what it takes to debut, considering how it seems really hard for her to improve based on feedback she is given, and how shy she is. I think she needs to really step out of her comfort zone in order to be a star

In this show, I’ve been rooting in particular for Cristina, Camila and Savanna since they’re very fun to watch and I really like their personalities! I really wish the age range to audition for this group was older, however, because I still don’t agree with people this young debuting, and in an American market, the debut of children’s girl groups etc., I feel is less normalised and so success very easily could be achieved with a group in their early 20s. Hearing that Melissa potentially got eliminated has shocked me though, it’d be a major loss if she doesn’t make it through! She’s an amazing vocalist and her fire on stage is unmatched.

The thing is… I like Kendall because of her personality. I know she isn’t the most talented but based on the new episode, she works so hard to improve 😭 she is definitely favored because of her looks, but are we really suprised?? It’s JYP, he favored his girl groups and ignored his boy groups 😔

Omg thank you I know it's just not me who noticed this! I noticed how Micha and Christina had way less screentime than the other members so I wasn't able to form an actual connection with them and for a minute I forgot Micha was even on the show until I saw her at the last evaluation. I can say Christina does have more screen time now the Korea auditions have begun.

I understand people who say young trainees shouldn't debut because of their age, just like Kaylee. But if JYP decided to let her audition at that age, it means that he pretends to debut such young idols. I don't think debuting idols with Kaylee's age is the right thing though, but there are people who don't support them because they are too young, which doesn't feel right since Kaylee herself joined the audition thinking about debuting with that age. Nowadays it has happened a lot in K-Pop debuting young idols but when it comes to a survival show, many people don't vote or support those trainees because they are too young to debut.

my faves Lexus: main dancer of the group Camilla: leader and mental support of the group Gina: Ace of the group, rocks both vocal and dance kaylee: strong in vocal, dance and facial expression but cant handle pressure well not my faves but they are all outstanding on their own ways KG: strong in vocal but not in dance, hard worker and willing to improve savanna: good control of her body, able to do acrobatic movements but not a strong vocal Christina: good dancer but vocal needs a lot of training, does not seem ready to debut yet Melissa: love her singing, but her gestures and all make me think she is gonna shine way better as a solo artist Kendall: JYP bias, good expression, but vocally i think she only sings in falsetto. was very shocked she got a vocal gem. i can see that JYP wants her as face of the group Yuna: sweet, idol like, talented, probably better in dancing than vocal but her dancing still needs improvement and vocal need training Mischa: sweet girl, but does not seem ready to debut yet. her dance and vocal were not in par with other contestants.

Yuna has been my favorite from the start. I feel like I can just relate to her the most. I also chose Cristina and Savanna from the get-go lol. Just something about them both that I like a lot. I'm still waiting to feel absolutely anything at all for Kendall, Gina and KG lol 🤷‍♀️ Everyone else falls in the middle for me.

I have the same opinions about Kendall!!! I was thinking she was like Ayaka in Nizi project, I honestly think both Kendall and Ayaka are favorited by JYP purely because of visuals but JYP plays it off as their expressions being amazing

No hate or anything but I feel like Kendall is the most loved on in JYP eyes. I mean Lexi got robbed in the dance evaluation. (Lexus/Lexi) She had a very hard song to dance to while Kendall had like an easy girly song. I don’t know why JYP let Kendall get away with the dancing and singing just because of her face expressions. I mean yeah face expressions are important but the main part of the evaluations is that if the person can dance and sing well. Honestly I feel bad for Lexus. Hopefully all the girls who truly deserve the gems can go to Korean ❤

I just hope that JYP won't do (again) what he always do. Which is choosing beauty over talent. I'm a NiziU stan and have watched NJ. And I do agree that JYP favors Ayaka although in all honesty she wasn't that good in both singing and dancing. (But she's improved her dancing now in NiziU) I just hope that JYP won't waste a talent and choose the ones that is popular over someone who isn't that popular but has a lot of talent.

i want lexus, camila, savannah, gina, yuna to debut so badly they are so so good!! i don't really know what to think of kendall and kg, they give me solo vibes. i love kaylee, she is so smart too but she is soooo young omg little baby. i really want to see yuna shine please make her debut!! i'm unsure about cristina too, she had some health issues while performing and i don't want it to be an akari situation from nizi project

I love kendall because she seems adorable and genuine and sweet. she is an admirable person. that being said she definitely got some stones/rankings she didnt really deserve 😖
