I love that you let your family pick through your unhaul! One of my sisters is also a reader and lives nearby so I like to gift her books too. 😊 I really need to get a pango account set up though stat! 😅

I know this is a tad off topic. However, I am just beginning to read Darcy Coates. So far, I feel like her writing style is simple yet poetic. I would love to know if that is a good way to describe her writing style, or am I way off base...

Parasite is the only one I've read by her. The first couple stories were too short, but I really loved the ending of the whole. The creatures were so so gross, that's how you know the author is good

it took me so long to get through silent companions. i remember it being very slow and longish chapters, which isn’t my favorite combination.

It Ends with Us, is really good. It has a very happy ending. Edited to add that I’m not a fan of the author. I read three books of hers and I liked them, but I’m not interested in anything else from her.

Yeah I think it’s more the actual type of romance it is that I don’t like! I rather read a cheesy silly romcom. I can’t see myself liking it unfortunately.
