I had flashbacks and fear of heights triggers with Justin and Sabrina on the one ride where's she's just laughing having a good ol'time 😆 It took me back when my eldest daughter was her age laughing and enjoying the ride to. Me being the party pooper parent. I wanted the ride to stop as soon as it started. I scream nobody heard me. I waved for the conductor, my Dad or anyone to see the fear in my face. Finally... after 2 to 3 long minutes 😁 my Dad sees I am in destress and has the conductor stop the ride. Luckily my daughter was the only one upset with me for stopping the ride after seeing I just wanted OFF. Mind you that it was like a kiddy spider ride ☺️ My eldest son took my place on the ride with my daughter. and she was just excited to get back on the ride as she was before I paused everything with my fear of heights 🤷 I enjoyed watching you and the baby girls have a day of family fun 🥰

@liz d’royale Amen! 🙏🏽 it’s nothing new. This one doctor told my mom I’d have a lisp. A different doctor said I’d be short my whole life. Now I’m an English professor. Same goes for the height thing. Doctors are business people they’re not looking out for your best interests. Thank God I had parents who had some semblance of reason.

This is nonsense advice, honestly. It may sound like it would make sense to non medical people but it doesn't. The most important thing is that their growth is tracked (age, length, head size, several other measures as well) and that if they truly have an exceptionally different length you consult a doc. The GP (or child consultation doctor in NL) can screen and if there is a problem they would send the child to the pediatrician to sort out the cause. Sometimes it's just normal, especially if they come from short parent(s). But there are many things that can cause short length. But it's important to know that people vary. We vary in colour, in habitus, and in height as well. It's not automatically pathological the moment something is not the same as average
