Chace's uncle has his 50th birthday coming up and Chace has hit me up to come and help gather some crayfish for the birthday. Luckily for us the west coast has gone flat, and Chace has managed to get a customary permit from the local Kaitaiki letting us take more than our recreational limit.
Its a beautiful drive to the dive spot and before long we are in the water and gathering a bunch of crayfish! A few Paua, a couple of kina and a fat Koherau round out the catch and we head back to Chace's place before I head off home with my share of the catch.
Back at home we enjoy Koherau sashimi and later I make up a batch of Paua and cream... Enjoy!!!
