@@bembika I find it hard to believe that someone as rich as steve could not get the location of someone. Heck, if it was that important to him, he could have dedicated a portion of his show thanking a few that helped him in, early in life and said "I lost track of this kind couple, but if you know them and see them, tell them i said hi, and thanks for all the love and help. The fact that he was 27 when he was still struggling and he’s well off now gives the 28 year old me hope. Life can change and success can still come. It's crazy how money sometimes changes people but Steve has kept it real with those who helped him and believed in him when others wouldn't. I remember one time a dude I went to school with went homeless after graduation. We weren't friends just had 2 classes together. I hooked him up with a job and I would invite him for lunch, would let him borrow money for his bills and I never accepted the money back. I stopped hearing from him for almost 2 years he just stopped going to work. I searched for him on Facebook couldn't find him. He showed up to my job and the first thing he did was run up to me and gave me a hug. He thanked me for feeding him and giving him a start by getting him a job. He started his own business auto detailing and is making so much money. He had opened up his second shop and offered me a management management position at his new location. It's been 3 years working for him and to this day he buys me lunch every day and sometimes talks about the times I would buy him food. Btw he never had bills, he was homeless for a year and a half and was saving money from work and money I let him "borrow" so he could start his business.

Fun fact: the phrase “blood is thicker than water” is kinda manipulated; the original phrase actually goes “The Blood of the Covenant is thicker than The Water of The Womb”, which basically means that the choices and loyalty you make and earn from others along the way are more important than your actual blood.
@neian147
@neian147 Жыл бұрын
@@tnty1561 that's not true It's just what someone on the internet made up Edit: The earliest traceable origin of this proverb is from 13th venture German. "Blut ist dicker als Wasser", directly translating to "Blood is thicker than water" There's also a manuscript from the same era, also German, that reads "I also hear it said that kin-blood is not spoiled by water." referring to the fact that distance of the seas does not change familial bonds

It reminds me that not only can we get past our differences(embrace them), but that true genuine love, compassion, connection-doesn't have a color, a gender, or a nationality. There are still decent & compassionate everyday people out there. Also, Steve's story reminded me not to give up and hopefully someday I can do for someone what they've done for him.
