I think going to preschool is a great idea. I only sent my daughter 2 or 3 times a week. It helped a lot with her becoming social and also learning to follow instructions.

I’ve watched Tatum grow since she was born and now her getting ready to go off to school even makes me teary eyed for you Tara. Just thinking of when I send my son off to school 🥹 but it was so cute when Tatum was saying in the car “ let’s do it baby!” And singing the Baby Bumblebee song 🐝 brought me back, that was one of my favorites when I was a little 😊 You guys are doing a great job, so excited for Tatum, she will do great!

Tara this was so bitter sweet . I can't belive Tatum is almost 3 and now in preschool. Adam painting her hand was so special . The gifts are so awesome. The book you got her was bittersweet you writing in it must have been a sad moment I was seeing you crying and sending a hug your way. Beautiful story❤

Why do people send their toddlers to daycare when they are sahm’s? Where I’m from (west coast) it’s not common to send toddlers to daycare unless you work And preschool is for 4 year olds.

I am so hesitant myself to send my little girl off to pre k, she’ll be 3 in October. I think if I do it it’ll be at 4 like I did with my first.. You are so brave 🫶🏻 it’s important for everyone to do what is best for their family.

We waited until Baylee and Shay were both 4 too. Gray we started developmental preschool for obvious reasons. Every child is different, do what you feel is best. 🫶🏼

You keep mentioning throughout the video that you are sad to be sending your last baby off to school. Can I ask why you think its necessary? I get that its nice to have the house to yourself but at 3 they don't need to go to school. She has sisters and a brother which is plenty of socialization at her age. I totally get wanting some peace and quiet though if thats what its about but if its just for socializing there are plenty of groups and classes you could do with her so you wouldn't need to send her away for 6 hours a day :( You just sound so torn about it which is really sad.

Being sad about sending a child of yours off to school is a very normal, universal feeling every mother experiences no matter which grade they're going into. There are many reasons we decided to enroll her in pre k. In the nicest way possible- I'm sure you are aware of those reasons and don't need me to tell you. You can google it if need be. 🫶🏼🫶🏼

Why is this even a question? It doesn’t matter how many siblings she have…if she’s ready then why not? It’s no different from sending the babies off to daycare, etc.

In reality it’s you hop in or you lose your spot for most preschool or daycares these days. She said she’s been on the waitlist awhile so if she missed the spot she’d be back on for a while
