A story from the history of the Isle of Bute, performed by our good friend, Alison Clarke. This was recorded as part of the extensive Bute Story Storytelling Project conducted by Heritage Stories for the Bute Landscape Partnership. The project included Oral History Collection, working with community members to develop their storytelling and creative writing skills and a festival at which many new stories were performed.
