Must be frustrating constantly having to play the KZfaq game and putting your own creative preferences to one side. I enjoyed last seasons longer episodes, but ultimately haven’t felt like we lost anything this season with it being two shorter episodes. Whatever you decide to do the quality is fantastic so credit to everyone involved.

I think you'd be surprised to hear that there's probably quite a few of us that are interested in the behind the scenes stuff. I would usually speed through some team talk stuff but I'll stay and listen to help out. I've just found you guys recently and you need to do what works for you to make money and keep doing this. Loved this channel since I first ever found it many months ago. The content is absolutely incredible, great editing, whitty narration, great characters and personalities. It has everything BOA do a fantastic job and partnership with Marc and Dorking truly feels like it’s meant to be. Wonderful stuff

the team talks and inside the dressing room is one of the features that makes the show different and engaging. Marc's openness and honesty is what makes him special and a world apart from most football managers interacting with the media.

I honestly find it mental people cut off before the team talk at the end. Legit one of the best parts

Very insightful thank you for taking the time to inform us. I (Kilroy films) have been trying to emulate your longer episodes, think they are class, but totally get the algorithm dilemma. We have made small but decent strides in our first season and have to credit channels like yours for the inspiration.

i agree, keep it up, the quality is really good. Personally, I like the off-the-pitch stuff, especially when the team aren't playing particularly well. I like seeing the manager talk to the rest of the coaches, opposition managers, etc, I love hearing the background to the game, e.g. a bit about the opponents and the league - the short interviews with fans are great. I actually like the team talk part, but if the team has conceded 3 goals again and lost, it gets a bit predictable what he's going to say. Could be nice to interview one of the other coaches after games to get a different perspective on what went right/wrong and ask fans after games for their thoughts, if it was eventful.

Rich, I will say as a fan of the channel, that at its present stage, without understanding the youtube algorithm, that I subscribe for the level of football (and the more than frequent Marcwhiteissms) Fantastic to hear your're still following DWFC, but if you're up for a new series; Truro City. Stayed up in NLS, played 12 games in 22 days and lost their manager to a team that finished below them. A long way away but enough away games and tribal support to still get a following. Cornwall is an isolated footballing outpost and any publicity would be greatly received even if it didnt work out in the long run.

Watched from the first series and whilst I’m sure this has been spoken about numerous times with Marc, I really feel Dorking should be paying you enough to make a living from this alone. Can’t argue you hit the jackpot with Marc, but the exposure you’ve generated for them has been superb.

4:35 out of all of my comments even though this is a question I’ve had, I haven’t asked because I could think of a lot of reasons why don’t and you covered most. The pressure (not the right word but you’ll get my point) of doing it within a week is too much and besides it doesn’t leave you with anything pre-season either. It’s better to be consistent with vids than to have a situation which happens where for whatever reason you find yourself behind and not putting out a vid which can so easily happen if you are doing them straight away. Because it doesn’t take much to happen to put you in a situation where you are constantly playing catch up. All of the other points about it are totally understandable. Ideally from a viewing point of view if the delay was just 2-3 weeks or at most a month which strikes when interest in a match is still fresh in the memory it would be ideal personally. Kind of like with Ebbsfleet, at the time of the match I could remember seeing that result and by the time the vid came around I’d forgotten it, so my interest in seeing what the reaction etc was had gone by the time the vid came out. But on the flip side I had forgotten the score so viewing it I didn’t know what the score was, which is also a good thing. So it’s a balancing act and I don’t really have any major complaints about it and can sympathise on that from knowing what goes into creating things like this as it is time consuming and when life happens or things go wrong it can easily mess up a short deadline.

Great videos you guys should come to Borehamwood for next season as we’ve just been relegated same as dorking but we’re staying professional in national league south if I’m not mistaken we’ll be the only full time team in the national south and as we’ll be aiming to win the league I think it would definitely make a interesting series just a thought anyways keep up the good work 👍

I think the channel definitely has massive room to grow and in truth should be bigger than it is which I suspect is mostly due to people just not being aware of it. I stumbled across it fairly recent in a reddit comment chain but otherwise would never have known and I consume a lot of football content. I think if you somehow got a way to get more big names promote it as everyone I recommend it to loves it. You've had Crouch and Savage on recently who I'm sure wouldn't mind doing a little shout out, especially when they're involved at that level themselves. In regards to the algorithm I do skip a lot of the team talks, but I think a lot of the intros are brilliant and enjoy them. I don't mind the delays at all but it's easy to say when I don't follow lower league side.

Great channel and been a massive fan for some time. Honest opinion if your struggling between the paradigm between video length and sustainable clicks - really think it can be shortened at the start. I have always loved Mark and the team talks and think that’s what really gives u a good edge is that inside access. For me the away fan interviews never really make much sense (albeit some old characters) and ends up just delaying (possibly deterring) people from seeing the team talk and footy. I think if you still prefer that do a build up vid then game vid but for me the pre match changing room and match all have to be one

Absolutely sure now that you're not really Max Rushden moonlighting (but you still sound like him).

I know personally I would rather have the longer episodes available for free, because as a footballer myself I love the content (including those team talks at the end a lot of people turn off) and I don't really have the means to join as member. Unfortunately that's not realistic for a channel to survive. I guess what I'm trying to say is I hope the experiments with videos end up with longer episodes published for free if the analytics allow it😅

Honest opinion, I fast forward, any team talks, interviews, with Dorking as quite frankly I find Marc unwatchable, some of what he says to referees needs to be addressed by the league. Raynes Park games I watch the whole videos. Hope that helps. overall I enjoy he content, as a non-league fan in New Zealand. I have visited RPV about 5 years ago.
