Explanation: Deep Sea Gigantism is attributed partly to the freedom from some of the restrictive growth limits of gravity, as well as the abundance of food such as krill and squid. Whales are energy-efficient, allowing them to expend only the minimum requirement for movement and survival!

And now you have your own book coming out too! I am going to assume you were well into the depths of your own book-making process by the point you made this comment. I am taking a guess that creating a product like that has tons of uncertainty, so I hope that when this minute physics book came out it was releiving to you, that these books can exist and succeed. I'm happy to see you both expand your reach to physical-based medium.

That really needs to happen for true science literacy to manifest in the public. Failure to show stuff like that is a major contributor to pseudoscientific beliefs. We were told just the end-result answers in school, as if science was some kind of impartial oracle instead of a non linear process resulting in collection of rigorously tested best guesses. That hasn't exactly been the best method, since it leads to a whole bunch of double think and neurosis around scientific subjects, since people feel like they've been lied to and we're never introduced to how science actually works.

A very clever title for what looks like an excellent book, - which makes excellent "clickbait" too! It appears to have the perfect balance between pictures and text for such a book - like one I have had since I was a kid - somewhere in a box in the attic I think, about the human body - by Karl Howman I seem to remember. Very illustrative and easy to read - well for kids, really! Thank you for sharing.

So if meteorites are the main source of water on Earth, why is there none on Mars and the Moon? The lack of an atmosphere might be somewhat responsible, but I guess the surface temperature is so low on the moon and Mars that water-as-ice should cover the planets. Or is all of the ice evaporated by the temperature of the impact and then lost to space?
