Peter, this first Trunk experience was so amazing to put together and I am thrilled you enjoyed it. Improvements are already underway for future Trunks. The Free Elves are afoot with building, sculpting, and melting all kinds of items. I love the feedback and welcome all feedback. I did consider some of your same thoughts regarding the Chocolate Mold. In future Trunks we will certainly provide more direction. The Messrs Quest was intended to be challenging but I am confident it has only temporarily evaded you. With a little time and grit you all will be able to Join the Marauders and be entered to win a custom handmade wand experience once you complete the secret code. Just wanted to point out super quick, the critter in the box is a 'Death Head Moth'. Super neat critters! I have almost that exact image as a tattoo 😆

The tee shirt had Sirius' chest tattoo on it which was pretty cool too. I don't think you noticed that. The runes across it reminded me of his Azkaban placard.

With the Cypher you need to fallow the cheat sheet from top to bottom and correspond with the item to get the right password

After I watched this video last week, I had to go and sign up for the subscription. The box came in the mail today and I love the box. My favorite items were the shot glasses, the bookmark, the potion and the pin. I like the shirt it was just bigger than I expected so I'll have to see about changing the size for future boxes. I was working on the puzzle for hours with my husband. Just couldn't figure out the right way to turn the cypher disc. Took a break and within a couple minutes I had an "A-HA" moment and got it! Will definitely be keeping this subscription going. :)

It's such a clever idea to create a quest in a box! Maybe there could be a QR code or something taking you to the solution? Just an idea. Really great first box😊

After you get that first letter the instructions tell you to read the Oath to find how many spaces and what direction to change decoder. From there you match runes from all the other items to their corresponding letter and every item does have a rune. The T-shirt it’s in the white symbol and the chocolate bar rune is extremely hard to find because it’s mixed in with all the like legal stamping. Once you have all the letters unscramble them to get the word I promise you it’s pretty obvious what the word is once you have all the correct letters. You can then enter that word on the website in the password box.

OMGODDESS!! Finally a box suitable for adults!! I actually missed this video but came back to watch it after seeing box two and cancelled my grocery order to subscribe lol! - i have enough food no worries lol - i am a heriditary practitioner and this box has item I can actually use in my practice and sacred space!! My favorite character is Remus Lupin, so personally I loved this box! However since it was supposed to have a Marauders' theme, I do wish they had devoted more products to the other Marauders creatively. (They did such a great job with the stag shot glasses!) Thanks for opening this!

I’m not a collector of HP stuff but this is a good box. I like the quest a lot, gives something extra to do and feels very magical having to use the coin to decipher the clue. Also the items are interesting and subtle, you could wear that t-shirt anywhere and you’d just think it’s a cool T-shirt. I like it especially those little glasses, I’ve seen similar antique ones here in the UK, they’re called stirrup cups and are usually made of silver and have boars, hares and other animal heads, which are upside down like these ones, so that you can drink out of them.

Very unimportant, but for informational knowledge: on the side of the box was a Death’s-head Hawkmoth.

6 years ago, I did a Harry potter themed Christmas gift wrapping with brown paper, wax seals, owl post stickers, and the word fragical on each box. I found it on pinterest when I was looking for ideas. I'm just saying so you don't think they stole the word from you. It's been around for a while.

The symbol in the middle of the shirt, I believe, is supposed to be Sirius Black’s chest tattoo.

Where did you get the Knut info? I’ve always heard it pronounced kanut not K-nut. That’s how they say it on Hogwarts legacy and the UK audio books.

This box is awesome! I absolutely love the Marauders pin. I think the shirt is supposed to say mischief and a rune/clue where there is an M instead of an E. Maybe? The candle sounds amazing, I love those scent notes. The book mark is awesome too.

I liked the box. I think it must be very hard to step out into the subscription box market for Harry Potter when there are already so many very strong boxes out there but they tried some different things and I like that! I think the tune thing was really cool and a lot of fun they just needed a cheat sheet so if you got stuck you could find your way onto the website still. They are still learning and I think if people are willing to give them a chance they might actually have a chance of breaking into the market but people can’t expect them to be at the same level as other boxes straight out of the gate. It’s easy to forget what the other boxes used to be like too.

The Marauder's pin badge is fabulous.

Those are some fantastic items, especially the little glasses! They kinda match your Hogwarts dishes. The runes idea is pretty cool, definitely creative.

If I may offer some advice for the key? (Sorry if you solved it and I missed that) First: set the disc so the rune F aligns with the English A. Then look at the 7 items you got: The pin (x), the page, the candle, the shirt (background rune), the bookmark, the potion and the glasses and decipher the symbols (using the disc still at F=A). If I have read the sheet right, this should give the letters needed to generate a number and direction. Eg. left, six. Then move the disc to reflect that. I admit I get a little lost here but I THINK you use the new disc setting to translate the runes on the shirt…..and the tada!

Oh wow this box was really interesting! So glad to hear of new Harry Potter subscription boxes, wish we had more in the UK but what a fun and interesting box!

I think the quest is an amazing idea. I don’t know if I would have figured it out either, BUT i like that it is challenging and not everyone would figure it out and in turn more likely reward those that do break the code. I hope this is an every box idea.

This is the best box I have seen on the market. The cipher element pulls you in more than a normal box. There are runes on the box, on the shirt, and on the items. Like that it makes the items into a larger experience. I checked out their instagram and website for more info after watching this video. Love this concept and hope to see more of this on the market.

Mischief is what is spelled on the shirt, if I knew the runes on the items I could tell you the word. You can look up the Futhark alphabet instead of using the cipher.

I'm a fan of magical subscription boxes. I started with Litjoy, and then I just unboxed my very first Wizarding Trunk box the other day. To commit to a 3rd box, it would really have to blow me away. Although this box is good, it's not exactly what I'm looking for.

Oh, Peter. My grandmother kept a stunning collection of crystal and antiques in a curio cabinet. When the light inside was on, everything sparkled. She called it her “fragical”collection when I was a little girl. It meant ‘look but don’t touch’ in our household. This was in the 1990s.

Not wishing to sound pedantic, but the 'K' is silent, it is pronounced 'Nut' not 'Kaynut'. It is very interesting and pleasing that someone still feels that it is worthwhile to carry on producing these Harry Potter chests, a great way for fans to carry on collecting HP memorabilia. Love it !

I did see this new magical box was coming this year and was hoping that it would be reviewed by my favorite magical KZfaqrs so I could see what it was all about. The pair of little glasses are very cool and I never saw that before. The pin was very clever and I don't think I saw anyone make one like that before either. It's nice to see things that no one else has made before to shake it up a bit. The box is a bit pricey though at $75.99 not including shipping. I hope at some point they will offer some items to be bought on their own on the website so if there are some things that people really like they could get them.

If I am correct, the runes spell out "M I S K H I E F". I do believe that's how mischief is spelled in runes because "C" does not have a rune counterpart; however, I mig ht be wrong.
