Very interesting! It always amazes me how far back this craft goes back, and where in the world it originated from. And honestly. Just how talented people had to be, to work these old machines! This was a huge eye opener! Hats off the original gem cutters! Thanks Justin!

lucky man you got a new machine from India, I'm jealous. I took a closer look at that latest model and I like it, it has the ability to cut a wide variety of designs. For a while I was thinking of getting myself such a model. In the hands of a good craftsman, top quality products are possible. Thank you very much for the informative video and complete history, I found it very interesting.

Nice synopsis of the jambpeg history. It's very cool to see the different angles of approach (no pun) to the technology from different locales to get the job done. How rapidly would you say that the machine side of faceting is evolving (and where, is a cool ponderance)? Thanks, as always, for another great video. Cheers!
