Also Jason thank you for sharing your addiction story honestly. I watch your show all of the time. I remember the episode with Dr Drew and he was trying to help you see your problem. Even in that struggle you were honest. You were so unhappy and discontent then. You are in much better spirits. Staying off the Kratom even though it is hard you are doing it. I am a big fan of you obviously. I would love to hang out and talk. I love your Australia stories. My favorite one is when you went pig hunting. You tell that story so well. I think one of the things I like about you is your perspective and how you tell your story. I’m not a weirdo but this is starting to feel weird. My son's best friend died from an overdose of kratom 3 years ago. I thought it would have been a different substance but they did an autopsy and he ended up having high doses of kratom in his system. He was only 20, saddest fucking shit ever.

Kratom is relatively safe when used in moderation. Overdose is very rare as the ld50 is generally higher than you could consume and you'll end up throwing it all up before you can reach a leathal dosage , and tolerance builds quickly. The real danger comes when taking it along with other drugs, most of the kratom related deaths are from mixing it with other drugs. Deaths from kratom alone is super rare.

Jason no one has died from kratom... Those deaths mentioned had other substances in their system. Not one death had kratom alone in their system
