'Khoya Khoya Chand' is a song that is very close to my heart. This song reminds me of my childhood. It's a precious song for me, and it makes me emotional every time I hear it, so I save it for those special occasions and moments for when I feel nostalgic as I take a trip down memory lane :)

Such a a beautiful song....Khoya Khoya Chand ....lost lost Moon ....khula asaman.....open sky ....aankhoon me sari raat jayagee ..... the whole night will pass in the eyes ( awake ) ....cannot miss the clown like movement of Devanand 👌

Amazing cinematography. Most iconic song of its time sung by Mohd Rafi. I remember as a child hearing this song on the radio and gramophone in our house. One of my favorites. Subtitles appear to be in Thai.

This is a great song. I thought only old Indians liked these types of songs. This requires a real taste in old Bollywood music. But looks like you have cultivated it. Good job.

This song and time reminds me of my Dad going about the house and across to his dispensary doing his work as a Doctor as this song would be playing on the radio. So it's now an emotional memory as he is no more.

Our desi Gregory Peck walks like a bear. Rafi's voice is vibrant and divine. It's supposed to be nighttime. Shammi Kapoor was more Elvis.

You seem to have got the wrong impression. It's not meant to be funny at all. He's so giddy with excitement that the girl he'd been singlemindedly pursuing for so long as agreed to accept his escort for a midnight visit to the temple. She's upperclass, educated, sophisticated and is happily engaged to boot. Haven't you seen teenagers skipping/ambling down the lane? Granted Dev is too old. But that's what was intended.
