I love him but it is normally so hard for me to watch Bucky like when Bucky was in Wakanda and Black Panther brought him the arm and Bucky said "where's the fight?" It makes me sad because before I had therapy I was so used to a certain type of trauma that a family friend had been doing to me since I was 7. I was so used to it and when he'd show me a certain thing I knew it was time for the trauma events again. To this day when I see that thing my brain automatically just expects the pain that is about to come. This edit really helped because it showed the transition from things that are so hard and traumatizing and scary to him trying to come out of it and I'm trying god help me I'm trying so fucking hard I hope I find my family like Bucky found in Sam.

My chest is heavy...The song, and Bucky hooked to that 'thing' screaming, missing the only person he had close to family....This really captured how much pain hes suffered, and the end showing he finally got his smile back from the 1930s♡

The only thing with what Steve said about being with Bucky 'til the end of the line is that he wasn't as he decided to leave Bucky just so that he could be with a woman he kissed once. Where as Bucky was always there for Steve after the brain washing and torture that he went through.

A lot of people understand Steve's decision but I honestly believe it was a stupid rather selfish one. Peggy moved on, she didn't need him anymore, but Bucky is still there and he still needs him. Phew, anyway, had that not happen, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier would have never happened so I'm not entirely mad XD

@@cityfairy6342 comic break down for you Bucky became Captain America for an short period of time because they believed Steve to be dead so Tony approached him as they needed an Captain America even if it wasn’t by Steve’s blessing. But when Steve comes back he lets him keeps the shield although not by his blessing again because even though Bucky had been trying to change he knew he couldn’t live up to the Clean cut Captain America considering many ppl he’s taking out. He then gives the shield back to Captain America where he then gives it to the Falcon and with Steve’s blessing he then becomes The new Captain America.

well I believe to a larger extent Steven did the right thing... Bucky just got his ability to have control over himself and needed to still discover himself and what he needs... it's not Steve's duty to determine Bucky's life... plus you know they had a talk before Steve left surely they must have talked about this too... imagine Bucky going back to the past with steve without amending and then he would have to live with that guilt for his whole life and with nightmares every single day... Steve on the other hand couldn't stay in the present after a long time of consideration he figured out his life is still bought to Peggy... living in the present would have made him miserable... Each one of them needed to get a life and some times that means letting go or rather freedom of choice which should be mutual and it was...

Friendly reminder that First Avenger took place over the course of two or three YEARS (plenty of time for a relationship to form and romance was not even being the point of FA) and "to the end of the line" is NOT a euphemism for "to the death". But hey, if you want Sam and Bucky's character growth to be crippled because of Steve overstaying his welcome, that's on you. Sam can't be Cap if Steve's still there, Bucky deserves better than to rely on Steve as a crutch, and Steve deserves better than to BE a crutch. I'm not my BFF's priority anymore. Know who is? Her husband and daughter. As it should be. True friends can go years without speaking and still pick up where they left off. It's not the amount of time you're with someone. It's the quality of that time spent. Steve and Bucky had their child, teen, and part of their adult lives together, war and HYDRA got in the way, and things were never going to be the same. Their paths diverged the moment Bucky fell from that train and when they came back together, they came back as completely different men. Time to accept life isn't a fairy tale and these two have circumstances that prove it.

i feel sad for bucky. people treated him badly and i get that he technically "did" horrible things but he was also a victim :( as much as howard stark was ! he was tortured !

@dardasaxr, I've lost my Captain America this August of 2021, our relationship was beautifully portrait'd by this video you so skillfully created.. I too am making amends and defending his memory against those who wished to speak ill will.. I was his source of happiness, his partner, his Bucky.. I wish he didn't leave the way he did..

Falcon and winter soldier has the most professional psychotherapy scenes,like enactment ( usually for couple sessions), and no more bullshit unethical sex between Thx and client s, i am so glad they respct therapy and found out how to describe it in the show.

I'm also glad they didn't romanticize his trauma. They didn't focus much on his romantic life because it's not easy for such a tortured person to be in a normal relationship, and I really appreciated that

Walker telling Bucky that it's easy for him because he has the,serum... for me that serum comes with responsibility which bucky has been struggling to keep up with since he got his brain back... walker thinks Bucky makes his decisions based on the fact that he has the serum and the decisions are easy... cap, Bradley had to make compromises that are sacrifices... Bradley risked his life to save his war buddies just like Steve and Steve gave up his life for the safety of the world... the responsibility is all about goodness and not perfection as Walker viewed Bucky to be... to him having the super soldier serum makes someone perfect the opposite of what Erskine said to Steve... in this series bucky has been trying to put his powers to good use as is a super soldier's responsibility and for someone with a good heart as he used to be and now is😊

Okay so in Falcon and the Winter soldier, there's a new Captain America, and I don't know why he is getting SO MUCH hate he is just doing his job, I miss the old Steve but, why is the actor getting hate for doing HIS job, please don't give hate to him he just wants to make it for people.

"Nothing to do with you....!" Ummm, excuse me? Bucky was there when Steve first got that shield. Bucky fought alongside Cap for more than a year whilst he used that shield on operations in WW2 before Sam was born. Bucky picked up that shield to protect his body and draw away enemy fire when Steve was down, defending his friend as ever on that train in TFA. Steve even gave up the shield to save Bucky in the events of Civil War. It basically came to represent everything about Steve and Bucky's relationship and everything Cap stood for before he even got the serum: loyalty, courage, brotherhood, doing what was right, honour and self-sacrifice *long* before Sam came on the scene. So yeah, that shield has almost everything to do with Bucky. He had a far stronger connection to it and to Steve than Sam ever did.

One of the things I loved about The Falcon and the Winter Soldier was it shows how Bucky is coping in a world without Steve (fuck you Endgame writers). He meant a lot to Bucky; he was his buddy since the playground that was able to bring him back, there for him through thick and thin and I liked how the writing shows that Bucky was trying so hard but also struggled at times. Although I feel like people try so hard to paint Bucky and Steve as a "lover relationship." and I think it's really stupid because they're brothers and have each other's backs and I love the brother dynamic with each of them and it's a shame that people miss that part.
