I love Noodler's products and I love Nathan Tardif. I will always stand by him and support him in every way possible. Unfortunately, I fear he has given up, due to the false claims against him, by his so-called friends. I hope he decides to make new products and content soon! I miss him! Thank you for being brave by doing this video.

My two favorite noodler's inks are Golden Brown and Army Green.. Honestly, if I only had those two, I would be happy

I haven’t even seen those two colors! We have General of the Armies but I have been warned about the way it behaves. The army green sounds intriguing too! Do you use regular paper or fountain pen notebooks? What do you use pens for?

Those two colors are my favorites, Golden Brown and Army Green. I use pens, sometimes for art and just to write as therapy. Fountain pen ink can be used almost like a watercolor, so it is never a waste. It always surprises me when people get concerned how many bottles of ink they have. I want to say, just paint with them in a journal and even on watercolor paper. they sell liquid watercolor, so inks are almost like a liquid watercolor. I have even used inks to refill my tombow markers (the water based ones) and it works great. I also love mixing my colors and that coveted Pilot Ina-ho can easily by duped. But don't ask me the secret formula. lol

@@impish22 I love painting with inks! I have a few videos on mini art with FP ink! I love Nick Stewart’s website and his art. I also mix colors and the deep pigments of FP inks make for beautiful art! I don’t understand the bottle situation, except for storage. I have mine in photo boxes and they’re labeled so it’s not a big problem- I treat them like art supplies and find that they add beautiful dimension to my work. I have a video on dyeing paper with inks- would you like to see it?

I have very mixed feelings about Noodler’s inks. I have stopped buying them a few years ago. On the plus side, Noodler’s offers lots of very appealing colors and shades of ink. At some of the most affordable prices for the always generously filled bottles. That is great. However, I’m quite annoyed by the very unpredictable nature and serial inconsistencies of their inks - from bottled ink batch to batch. The lack of consistency in color and shade and behavior in pens and on paper is highly frustrating. I don’t mind paying much more for all-round much nicer bottled inks. edit: I still have the Black Swan in Australian Rose, Zhivago and Walnut.

I understand- my husband is the same way about them! They are unpredictable in pens & on different papers & that makes him insane! The only one he uses is x feather. I like the basic colors and of course the complex ones for art because of their unpredictable nature! Black swan Australian Roses and Rome Burning are still some of my favorites! Of course you can’t use anything except Parker, sheaffer and waterman for vintage pens, so that limits my choices for those, but in a TWSBI, anything goes!😄
