Hi Rachel! So…since the pandemic I’ve been working from home. I work for a bank in what we call “back office”, so no customer contact, which makes for a pretty boring job. What makes my job enjoyable is the daily interaction with my work mates….and I haven’t seen any of them in person for over a year. We are a pretty close group and it’s had such a negative impact on me. I’m being told that our office may open up in September, but it’s not a guarantee. I tell you all of this depressing background to let you know how much joy you have brought me with your videos. I just found your channel a couple of weeks ago, so as I sit here in my home office - alone (well, my poodle Sky is always in the chair next to me) watching your videos I actually catch myself smiling. You are a joy and a treasure! I’m so grateful that I found your channel and want to thank you, from the bottom of my poor old heart, for bringing such a breath of fresh air to my dull days. I loved this video, almost as much as I loved Frodos air swimming 😹 I am an old school follower; as much as i enjoy the project content, I do miss the old get ready with mes, day trips and just whatevers... that type of content, it’s what built your fanbase after all, so know you will always have people that adore whatever you share, because you - just your being/presence - is enough to joyfully watch, whether your making a dress or frying an egg (of course Frodo content is always a huge bonus) 🤗

I loved everything about this! Thrifting and camping are two of my favourite things. I laughed out loud at Frodo swimming whilst being carried, what a precious boy.

I found those same green shorts at Kohl’s, Mercari, and Poshmark all for under $30 retail. Thred Up is a great brand for what they are trying to do, but their “estimated retail prices” are really off sometimes (In this case, by over $150 for the retail value) And the shorts originally came with a matching belt…

It looks like the black and white gingham dress was made volumnous by gores, thats the same method for adding volume on medieval clothing like kirtles. 😊
