We all work way too damn hard to be where we are. Thats why this song speaks to us regular folks i see so many people crossing their genre preferences to appreciate this song. Its amazing, we dont always get blessed with tunes like this.

It hurts so much to see us fighting class folks battling each other. We belong together. Like you say, we need to help and do something about it.

It is up to people what they do with their own money but charity should be done at home. We all know who is in need in our community. We also know who the grifters are. It's not love to do for others what they can do for themselves.

I’m curious what you are going to college for? Really, in all honesty you shouldn’t go to college unless your profession is worth it. Meaning unless your possible salary is way more than the cost of college it’s not worth it. I went to college to be a teacher and I so wish someone had told me this. I should have gotten a degree in something I could use as a backup bc all you need to be a teacher is a 4 yr degree (in anything) and to take a test for your teacher’s license. I have already told my 3 kids they will not be going to a university unless they want to be a doctor or lawyer. And even then it’s almost not worth it! College and college loans were created to keep ppl in debt. It’s a modern form of slavery. The best thing that anyone coming out of high school could do is go to trade school. Even a dental hygienist is a 2 yr degree at a community college and they make bank! Just put some serious thought into it before you take out all those loans! Also, to comment on your statements about helping people. Please be careful bc you can easily get taken advantage of. Some people don’t want help, meaning they don’t want to improve their situation. Some people just want to live off of others (ie career politicians).

You completely missed the point of this song. Washington DC is north of Richmond. This song is about corrupt politicians not about asking rich men to contribute.
