I was plat and used to play too defensive and scared. After watching Dark I got really motivated to play faster and more aggressive. I'm still plat and I miss almost every ball but man, I'm fast af lmao

Well.. to get out of Plat and Diamond i always recommend to just play save, always be between the ball and the goal and only shoot If It is truly a free ball. You have to remember that these ranks cant rotate and even If they can their recoveries are often too slow to rotate back in time, so you have to cover them up because of it.

Lemme tell you tho, as someone who’s high plat/low diamond… speed is only useful in really specific situations and if your positioning is really good. Like I’ve actually messed myself up a lot by driving too fast. Learning wall recoveries and shit will help you a lot, and play defensive when you should. Like when they have 2 behind the ball… don’t be too aggressive. Everyone in plat is pretty bad when you give them space; literally just wait for them to make mistakes and then go FAST

@@hyakkimaru1057 This. People wouldn't believe it's possible. RL is actually so hard and unique that at that point in time it would've genuinely been more beliveable that hacks or AI were doing that. Absolutely mental what they've done to this game, couldn't imagine this stuff in my wildest dreams

i mean, he didnt do any *crazy* mechanics, 2 arsenal resets into a normal reset. its a super slick shot but nothing as intensive as like... cross field quad into a musty (exaggeration) or sm.

@@beebadoobie8429I truly don't think you understand the complexity to the play versus what you just compared it to. You see, many freestylers have perfected movements such as a quad reset musty double full court. You don't see people perfect a ceiling pancake reset perfect ground pass to self into yet another reset from the bottom of all places and still keep the momentum of the ball upward, and instantly use the reset to recover with a musty into yet another reset, no bounce full court top bins. Not only that, but near supersonic speed. Freestylers often move way slower for the setups. It is a very complicated play and I won't be able to do that for at least half a decade, let alone do it in ranked and have the confidence to do it in 1s.

Anyone notice he got 1 boost more as he gets the first reset? Like it goes down to 69boost and then goes up to 70, then he proceeds to make the shot and has 1 boost still after he finishes. U can see it happen in 50% speed
