Quoi is actually sarcastic way of say “What”. I think Paul was mocking Lestat because the meal that had was Creole Gumbo, not Bouillabaisse. But Lestat wouldn’t know that because it’s his first time in “New World”.

Not one of the scenes of Lestat getting humbled being his literal murder 💀 Savage This video also makes me think about how we were absolutely robbed of the scene of Lestat crouching down behind a bush, watching Louis getting it on with Jonah and sobbing uncontrollably. I know it wasn't possible because it's all from Louis' pov but it would have been so perfect for this compilation

2:48 brilliant scene composition there. Louis, caught in the middle of Claudia and Lestat. And when Louis’s not in the scene, there is distance between the other two. These folks know what they’re doing on this show.

In the book I actually feel sorry for him. I’m currently reading the Price Lestat which is him telling his story. Now I understand why he is the way he is.

well… now that season 2 is over we now know Louis distorted some things too not sure how that’ll change audience’s view on him but i think the writers aren’t gna go around glorifying him s3, with how they make a point time and time again how flawed each character is and always will be

@@aerrrrrrI definitely like him more now that I know Louis made him out to be more of a villain than he really was. Added so much more depth and actually complicated his character in a good way. Great character and amazing acting done by both men.

I have watched the episodes over and over again. An absolutely incredible series with an amazing talented team of actors, producers, those behind the scenes, etc. Unfortunately, I have not read the book/s, so I am hoping that Lestat will rise up and find his way back to Louis. Bravo to the handsome Sam Reid for his outstanding performance throughout each episode 🌹❤

The show doesn’t really follow the books. I do recommend them. AMC is doing their own thing. The movie does a better job. Anne wrote the script for the movie. I know the credits say she and her son are executive producers, but they did not write for the show. Anyway, if you do choose to read them, go in knowing that they are going to be very different from the show. As for me, I want to see what they do in season 2. Yes, I am a fan of the books. Am I happy with the show 100 percent of the time? No, but I try to see it as it’s own thing. I really like how they are playing with the unreliable narrator, and I do like Sam Reid as Lestat.

@@tabithawolf6077can you explain why you like the movie more? Is it just that it’s more similar to the books? Because I watched the movie and didn’t like it. Imo the acting and feel of the trio of characters is much deeper, stronger and over all much better done in the show. I watched the show first but I definitely went in watching the movie with hopes it’d be as good as the book readers said, but it just wasn’t. I understand not loving the change of the books original state, but I honestly think it was a phenomenal change done really well

@jordanparker657, Louis was cruel to him a few times, but that one was deep. If he hadn't ended up bringing Claudia home, I'm sure he would have just come home and ignored the argument and Lestat would have too, just to have Louis home again.

As much as I can definitely agree with many of these moment's I found Louis absolutely INSUFFERABLE at times much like in the books. He wants so desperately to hate Lestat and everything he stands for because he can't own his own decision's when it matters. Trying to pass himself off as "human" when he was constantly fighting the urge to cut loose. Claudia was slowly but surely becoming much worse than Lestat but Louis refused to see it. Claudia was HIS decision and he couldn't see the disaster unfolding before his eyes. Why is it forbidden to make a child a vampire? Helplessness, immaturity, how others perceive you, and forever being entombed within hopeless youth.
