I am a masters HERO player in master duel been playing HERO since 2005 I really appreciate this video and the time and effort you took. I play meta and end up going back home to HERO they are my passion. HERO is anti meta tier 2-3 this format let's gooo!!!

When I started yugioh, Stratos was banned. And the release Stratos memes were full force. When he was released, memes changed to FINALLY hes out.

Gx was the first yugioh I ever watched and instantly fell in love with the archatype . I even remember the moment when i traded my friend whole exodia for Neos in elementary school. I still keep that card in the mask of my phone.

At some point during the Fire Fist Atlantean meta I decided to build a Noble Knight HERO deck to turbo out rank 4 Xyz like Heroic Champion Excalibur and Blade Armor Ninja to just beat over everything into submission. It was pretty cool being able to use Sparkman and Artorigus as the vanillas for Gawain's summon all while fueling the Graveyard for Miracle Fusion to summon even more beatsticks.

The one thing I've always disliked is how Airblade, DDT, Gemini beat, and the like all get lumped in as "HERO decks". All of them are really cool and I like them, and I'm glad they're on here since this isn't just about the deck(s) itself. Just like...none of them really feel like HERO decks at all to me. 2 of them revolve fully around exactly 1 HERO monster each, the rest are just decoration that boosted the decks. Still cool to see all in one place all the crazy stuff that's been done with these cards, even if I don't feel like all of them should be titled as "HERO decks".

Airblade was made possible by the Hero cards and Gemini Beat's premier card was Neos Alius for his solid level 4 Warrior statline, making him a consistent body to see

@@otterfire4712 I’m aware of that, but the decks don’t do anything remotely close to HERO’s own playstyle. They’re decks enabled by HERO cards, but it seems crazy to consider them HERO decks (which to be fair, is also not done in this video. Comment was relevant, but not specifically about anything said in the video.)

@@LocalCatgirl0689 I don't know what to tell you, Destiny Heroes weren't all that fusion focused for the longest time, their only fusion for a while was Destiny End Dragoon so Airblade doesn't have a lot of options for fusions with how dominant D Heroes are in the list. Gemini Beats still packed Miracle Fusion for Absolute Zero. Hell, during Zexal Era, the moment the Hero precon came in, Darklaw became a focal point for Hero decks instead of the rank 4s they were focused on for the longest time. The only time Heroes fell short at doing their intended design was during early Zexal format when they were focused on rank 4 XYZ summons, but they changed course soon after the Hero precon.

Excuse me sir you did not even discuss the Isolde HERO deck that was never releveant or good and that nobody ever cared about. While this deck may have never done anything relevant, it is sill the best and most under explored HERO deck. It may seem like I am kidding but there was a point where any 2 warrior monsters would equal DPE plus Smoke grenade of the thief and literally nobody cared about the deck.

Heros is literally one of the most iconic archetypes of yugioh, being the 2nd show protagonist's deck. How is it undeserved when it receives support? And despite that, Hero is nowhere close to being a meta contender like fucking Branded is. Keep hating for nothing fool
