Usually I try to read the comments before I post one to make sure someone hasn't already posted the same thing, but sometimes it's impossible to read them all. So when that happens and then I find out later, I'll just delete my redundant comment. Take this comment that I'm writing right now for instance. If you happened to reply to my comment instead of simply deleting your comment and making all this disappear, I would come back and delete my comment because I would then know it was a complete waste of time. The delete button is right next to the edit button.

@@arcticcircle9178 (ianal) mostly irrelevant here - clearly assault and battery, but can be both a criminal and civil process officer sees clear evidence of intimidation, intent, and physical violence. the state can/should file criminal charges on that person. in fact, *only* the state can file criminal charges if ben et al didn't want to 'file charges' that's a separate thing entirely, bringing a civil suit to recover damages the officer should have acted in accordance with the law to address a willfully malicious person who committed violent acts. instead, he acted 'using his discretion' to sweep everything under the rug and just move everyone along. it's clearly in the interest of protecting a legislator from repercussions, either out of fear or of solidarity that's messed up any which way. our public officials should be the best of us, not above us

Ben in all seriousness you really need your own lawyers making sure you always know exactly where the line is so your confident you're on the safe side if it. When Cohen does his stuff he always knows where he stands legally and I'm just worried in case 'they' come after you cause it'l be much harder to be in that situation and be on the back foot, compared to already being confident where your 2 feet are placed.
