The way Daniel Radcliffe got casted was pretty cool. It reminded me of the fiasco Harry Potter had to go through to get his acceptance letter from Hogwarts. No matter how desperately Uncle Vernon tried to separate Harry from his wizarding roots, the universe (aka Dumbledore) was adamant about Harry fulfilling his destiny. I know there's a very simple, logical explanation for why Daniel kept running into the producers (his parents had connections to them and shared similar interests, plus they probably lived in the same area), but sometimes it's just nice to believe in magic.

But if he were in an airport in Canada, and he stumbled and fell down, then nobody said anything rude, bc he was very clumsy. @@Sherlock277 "the thing is is that what Rowling said has also upset many trans people" Did it upset trans people? Because I know two people who have fully transitioned through hormone therapy who said they take no issue whatsoever with Rowling's statements. For the life of me, I can't actually find one trans person who will meet me in real life and tell me what their issue is with what she said. It all only exists on Twitter. "we really can't ignore that." You don't have to ignore it, but you seem to have done that regardless. What you should do is look up what she actually said and make your own conclusions based on the context of the conversation which was had at that time. Instead, what you seem to have done is have someone who specifically posts content to inflame conversations because that makes them popular, filter their thoughts into digestible 15-20 second clips which push you in the direction of arriving at the conclusion you've arrived at. "Also there is the fact that Rowling has donated to some organizations that seem to be against trans people" Can you name these organizations, and in which ways specifically they harm trans people? No really, I want you to look up J.K. Rowling's charitable donations. Specifically I want you to focus on what she donates most of her money to, because I know for a fact based on this statement that you don't know what she donates to. So please, without resorting to having someone on KZfaq tell you what she donates to, I want *you* to find out what she donates to. "I do believe in having different opinions but" You can't say one thing and then follow it up with "But..." because that negates everything you just said. No, you don't believe it's okay for Rowling to have the opinion she has. Stop trying to hide behind kind platitudes and niceties and just have a conversation based in logic and rationale. "stuff like this feels like she is saying that she hates trans people" This is a blatantly false statement. It "feels" like she's saying something? So if I "feel" like you're saying something racist right now, is my feeling valid and do you believe me? Is it based in reality, or is it something I've made up because it suits my desires? I'm going to summarize this entire thing to the best of my knowledge: Rowling said the simple statement, I will directly quote her: "‘People who menstruate.’ I’m sure there used to be a word for those people. Someone help me out. Wumben? Wimpund? Woomud?" and somehow y'all came to the conclusion that she hates trans people? It's really no wonder she said stuff like "I wipe my tears with my royalty checks" in response to you lunatics. You're crazy beyond rationale. There's no talking to you. The best and only thing anybody can do for you lot is ignore you and hope you get therapy before your unending unhappiness results in your taking your own life. You need to get help and stop lashing out at people.

THANKS so MUCH! I don't have a TV and never saw this. This got me off to a great start of my day! Brilliant interview from both! It's inspired me to go back and read them once again.

It's hard to believe that these films are so old already. I've loved the books from the first sentence, and Daniel, Emma & Rupert have grown into fine actors. New sub, thank you for being a fellow Harry appreciate! Stay safe. 🌟☮🍀☯️💝♾🌻
