History DOES change, I saw the difference between my mom, her life, discrimination among us. Often people don’t see it, just simply ignored some facts. Most times we don’t understand it. CRT maybe good for some. Many pro and cons.

I am not sure if CRT should involve the LGBTQIA+ community then they should call CRT something else seeing as the LGBTQIA+ community focus mainly on sexuality and gender in this regard I believe that the curriculum would be too broad. I would have to really read and study both CRT, WHITE FRAGILITY and any opposing thoughts to really make a decision. I can defiantly see both sides as having valid reasoning to teach and to not teach it, unfortunately I really am not educated enough on the topic, and I don't depend on others opinions to make a clean decision. I do believe that the American History book should be subject to change as well as stating facts and evidence. This is really a gray area, that needs tons of study. It is good to see opposing thoughts. I think this is a very good interview.

I am white and a member of the LGBTQ community. I agree, I think it should be separate. While I face discrimination in some aspects because I am LGBTQ, I am still white and don’t face discrimination in other aspects.

Problem is that some are fear that focusing too much on CRT and ignore other issues as 1776. To me, study on CRT is good but should not ignore other historic event of America… easy way to accept CRT in schooling is removing big attention on sport at school… many school focus on sport too much because they worship big dollars flowing into their pot…

@Center Masster it seem that you jump too quickly with judgement… To understanding what history is about, it is necessary to open our mind to whole history from early mankind to present… Understanding what CRT is about, will bring awakening in ourselves … ignore CRT will bring more strifes among mankind’s…

@Center Masster yes but that depends on!!!! How it’s being taught and it’s nothing wrong to be white. Yes it’s important lesson yet not to belittle the white!

A perfect explanation of CRT, to-the-point and clear by Reggie. Well done. What confuses me is the whole puzzlement over why is CRT a big issue or reasoned to be threatening, problematic, and ban-worthy. ....CRT, and critical theory in general, is a system of ideas that critique society and culture in order to reveal and confront power structures. All structures are linked to history. For many its not just a theory but a philosophical and ideological underpinning from which we can challenge inequity, injustice, and oppression. Racism is an issue, and for some the issue is about maintaining it. So I suppose you can invite a racist on the program. Joking aside, if you really want to understand the "big issue" then google the video "ethnic studies ban CNN." A bit dated but perfectly frames the issue at hand.

It's presented by bullies and I thought bullies were bad. It also only presents history that favors the DNC agenda. They are very selective with their history and most of it is before 1945.
