Eric, I stumbled onto your show late one night in So Cal on PBS, and immediately perked up. All I fish with are cane rods, I've done small repairs but no total re-dos or makes; I know what it takes to make one. Wish you had time to show varnishing, then taking the stick out for christening. But no complaints, great show. I wondered what taper did you guys follow? tight lines, Darrell K.
