Lately I've been getting into ventriloquism and it might end up being a new hobby of mine so this was very educational thank you.

"A craftsman battles for perfection" indeed, attaining skill as a craftsman is very much a battle. Before becoming a craftsman I was studying and practicing the martial arts very intensely and obsessively. Learning to battle that way helped me greatly in becoming a craftsman, however, creation requires a delicate touch and a degree of diligence that empty handed martial arts did not. Luckily, the way of the sword offers such qualities as intrinsic parts of developing skills in those areas which is why legendary sword masters like Miyamoto Musashi became excellent sculptors and painters. Musashi became a sculptor and ink painter after feeling he had taken his skills as a swordsman to their maximum limit.

I’m a proud owner of a Tim Selberg ventriloquial figure. He’s one of my main characters!

I met Tim Selberg in Cincinnati about 15 years ago at the vent convention. His work is some of the best, plus the figures hold or in value. The closest I came to owning a Selberg was holding it. lol I'm going again this summer, so maybe I'll sell my house and buy one:-) There are a lot of people who are collectors and own these works of art who have the money but not so much the talent. Owning a Ferrari doesn't make you a world class race car driver. lol... Seriously, He is a true craftsman and I'm so pleased to get a closer look at the masters workmanship ! =keith

It's TRUE a few Ventriloquists out there get angry if you call them Dummies instead of "figures" I had an experience with a vent "correcting" me on the "correct" terminology of Dummies.

I'm from Brazil and I work with sculptures and dolls. your channel helps me a lot. however the subtitles are in English and there is no option to translate into Portuguese! Please release the subtitles in Portuguese! I don't understand English and I'm curious to know what you are talking about.
