I used to be a shepherd working amongst sheep but I never could get into the way of clipping sheep but everything else i used to do i used to roll the wool up and sometimes catch for the shearers darling x

I'm awestruck at the pace and the level of physical strain it takes to shear for so long. I thought lambing was insanely difficult and it is, but this looks very hard as well. Thanks for great content we are enjoying learning about sheep farming this year. All the best to your farm from North Carolina.

That's a days work I wouldn't care to do now, it was bad enough sippiting spuds into a grader all day, when I was in my 30s. Do the shearers click the counters manually or is it linked to the clippers?
