In January 2022, news about the murder of a young teacher in Tullamore, Ireland, would start to ripple through the media. It was soon a case on everyones minds, both in Ireland and much further afield. Every case is horrific, but certain cases leave a lasting and profound impact in huge ways... in ways we have not experienced before. And in the words of the Taoiseach Leo Varadkar, the case of 23 year old Ashling Murphy has “united the nation in solidarity and revulsion”.

So proud of Ashling for fighting so hard she sent this parasite to the hospital for help. And for the staff to report his wounds to the police as suspicious. Ashling and the hospital staff effectively cracked the case open. Bravo! One silver lining to an absolutely horrific and tragic day.

That’s because in Slovakia he would probably get a reduced sentence because of his Roma origins (they like to pull the race card wherever possible). As a community they are also what we would consider misogynistic, where women are illiterate and expected to marry at a very young age (14, etc) and take care of men in every way. He has no remorse because women don’t matter to him and are as disposable as single-use gloves. I think that to this day he has no idea why all the outcry over Ashling’s death had taken place. It’s sad but not sure that something like this won’t happen again. 😢😢😢 RIP lovely Ashling. You were absolutely beautiful inside and out and will be missed xxx

horrible. I live in Ireland for 10 years now. Originally from Czech Republic. When I heard the name of the attacker for the first time, I felt ashamed. We, Czech people would call Slovak people our brothers and sisters. It broke my heart that this young lady was killed for nothing by someone who was already a bad person in his own country. I really and truly believe that everyone who is coming to Ireland or any other country should show their police clearance. There have been many dark days in Irish history where murders are committed that make the national headlines. This one strikes a major chord for me because this was not over a domestic incident, an argument gone wrong or gang-related. This was a purely innocent young woman who was simply enjoying her life the way she had planned it, without ever being in contact with anyone like her murderer. This was so, so tragic, especially since she never knew what was coming and never imagined that laneway would be the last experience she ever had. And this could have been prevented, if the man who was responsible was never allowed access to the country, because he had a past criminal record.

"His family still believe he is innocent" yet they didn't think twice about burning the clothes that he wore on the day of the murder?! Didn't question him as to why they needed to be burned? Also the puncture wounds in his abdomen were self inflicted as a cover story to place him in a different location on the day of the murder. He said he was attacked and stabbed in Dublin, but what really happened was that he stabbed himself in the abdomen in his parent's apartment in Dublin after he was driven there by another family member that night. His parents then called an ambulance the next morning. And yet his family still believe he is innocent?! What a load of pony. Such sickening behaviour, lack of empathy and zero morals demonstrated by any family members and friends involved in the attempted cover-up. I think it's safe to say that rotten apple certainly didn't fall far from the tree. Then his cruel, arrogant and callous decision to plead not guilty and subject her poor family, partner and friends to a trial that detailed such harrowing evidence. All while having to look at him smirking and showing zero remorse. Beyond evil. I hope he will forever have to look over his shoulder. He doesn't deserve a moment's peace in life or even death

This is so sad! 😢 I can feel the family, friends, and school kids grief for Ashling. I'm glad they caught the perpetrator. I cannot believe the ask the officers if he's get 10 years for killing Ashling. Unbelievable! And he was married with 5 kids!?

The person that did this was an immigrant who never worked since he came to Ireland but he was living in a five bedroom house with his family.

Thanks for this video. Finally we can follow true crime cases from Ireland, and show our support for the families of the victims, and our respect to the victim. I always wondered how things were going in Ireland. This case was extremely gut wrenching. What a beautiful young lady. Why? My heart goes out to the boyfriend, and family of Ashling, and wish we could turn back the clock, but we can't. May she rest in peace.

Trust me, we have a LOT of rapes and murders from foreigners in Ireland that don’t get talked about enough. Too many immigrants that have a warped mind. They let a refugee in who raped a woman in England and got caught, then he didn’t two more times here, false imprisoned another woman and then tried a third time. Another guy murdered two gay men in my town because it was against his religion.

Everytime I watch a new case, I thought to myself that I'm already too numb hearing these heinous crimes, but I always end up crying at the end of each case. It's really heartbreaking when the victims are being presented, people who do the things they wanted to do just minding their own selves then in an instant monsters like this pos would come into the picture. It's just aggravating to think about. It's been nearly two years but surely all the family and friends of Ms.Ashling misses her dearly. I hope you're still here being the best person that you are and doing the things that you love. May you rest peacefully🤍.

The face his family still protest his innocence is enough for me to say they should either be deported or given the same prison term. Communities don’t need people that like that

This is chilling. Just a few days ago another mentally ill man who immigrated to Ireland stabbed 5 people, 3 of those being young children, in another random attack. How is this allowed to happen??? 😡🤦‍♂️

You scumbag, yet that man, who has been an Irish citizen for over 20 years, was stopped by another migrant! 🧠 The real question is how have you allowed yourself to be so ignorant and stupid? 🤣

There's no proof that this bloodless massacre ever happened because nobody saw any blood at the scene. This includes the Brazillian Deliveroo Biker who was third to intervene and who wouldn't have been allowed to give Press interviews prior to Court if this was a real case. The Filipino nurse whom the Media claim gave CPPR to the five year old girl is yet another unnamed character in this alleged incident whom no one knows. Also, CPR isn't usually given to stabbing victims and the Brazillian stated that he'd seen the man stabbing this five year old girl several times in the chest. The three children, the attacker and two of those who intervened are foreigners and the Fillipino nurse and they apparently have no families, friends, neighbours, nobody knew any of them. This case reeks of Intelligence Agency engineering and there's other signs as well.

Ireland is no longer a place I would go walking as I once would. Used to ramble all around with my dog, not something open to me and many others now or ever again. I think of this little lady every day and I pray for her family and her boyfriend whose suffering will know no end. May she rest in peace, such a beautiful little soul.

yes, people who prefer to ignore the truth throw statistics but reality is a different matter. Ireland is not safe, children now being stabbed on the streets but sure the virtue signallers continue to pretend all is wonderful. How devastating it must be for her family and boyfriend to hear that constantly being touted. @@loveforeignaccents
