Just came here after watching your most recent video. I’m feeling very emotional because this was the first vlogbrothers video I ever watched. I must admit, as much as I have and will continue to enjoy John and Hank content, Willie was my gateway into this wonderful, lovely community that has brought me so much joy over the years. This was a strange but delightful 7ish minutes of reflection, introspection, and feeling old even though I’m only a freshman in college. Much love to you all 🙅🏻‍♀️💕

I like to think that John named both his digg and his son after Hank. Willie = William (Hank's first name) and Henry = ...well, Henry, which is Hank's middle name.

+Reid Merrill So true. Jesus, babies are a lot of work. And it's mindblowing how much harder babies are to puppies, considering how much work them fluffballs already are! O.o (which is why I like playing with other people's pets/ids then chucking them back at them for the hard parts! ;D)

Just got done watching the video about Willy having cancer only to have this one pop up in my suggested videos. I've watched it a few times before, so long ago, so cute. Willy you are adorable and you are loved and we're all going to miss you when you're gone even if we never met you in person.

It has been 10 years since this has been posted, 10 years that Willie has blessed our presence 💛 wishing you all the best John. Thanks for 10 years of you, of Willie, and of everything you two have done. 10 years ago we didn't have a lot of John Books and the children and Willie and so much has happened. Sometimes, it is relative symbols in our lives that remind us of the wonderful and terrifying passing of time. It was a wild 10 years. 💛

As someone who has also lost a beloved pet, I hope that each day is getting incrementally easier for you all (because somehow life manages to go on even when sometimes we take a couple steps back) and that you are able to fondly remember the good times. Like the adorable head tilt. ❤️

I skip the puppy thing two ways. 1) get a cat. 2) adopt a dog already potty trained. Actually, I "get" abandoned cats that happen to wander in the from the streets/woods. There's this "they adopt me" thing going on throughout my life.

+Peregrination I skipped it by being seven, so it was really my mom doing the taking care thing until I (and the puppy) grew up. Even grown dogs are like low-key versions of toddlers, really, so they're still massive amounts of work. :P

I really need to sleep. It is 1:40 am and I return to school tomorrow (Spring Break - which I spent watching vlogbrothers and trying to catch up on all the years of awesome I missed out on instead of doing important things like inventorying all of my books and DVDs). I am very tired. My eyes are heavy, but I have SO many videos to watch. I'm just going to close my weary peepers, but you keep talking. LOOKING FOR ALASKA IS AMAZING!!! I've been blowing off all kinds homework/nerdiness just for this book, which I guess is a nerdiness within itself. Your writing is steller, and I mean that, not just saying that because I want a free book of Paper Towns, which I'm sure is just as spectacular as Looking for Alaska is.
