Have you ever been to Joshua Tree National Park? It's absolutely beautiful! It is located just an hour outside of Palm Springs, California. Be sure to stop by the Visitors Center to get a souvenir and a map before you head into the park. While Jason was in Bellevue, WA for work, I had the opportunity to drive into the park for an afternoon. I went on a couple short hikes: Cottonwood Spring Trail, Wall of Horrors, Barker Dam Loop and Cholla Cactus Gardens. So impressive! The weather in the park in November was perfect, mid 70s. Be sure to stay for sunset - you can't beat the golden hour while surrounded by cacti and joshua trees!
Jason and Emma (The Roaming Russells) are Full Time, RV travelers - home base is Salem, OR. Along with our two cats, Steg and Little Foot, we're slowly cruising our way around the country. We exclusively boondock/dry camp and enjoy exploring the great outdoors. We especially enjoy hiking, riding our bikes and paddling on our SUPs. Stay tuned for more from The Roaming Russells!
