I visited Alamogordo and White Sands 7 times over the years, now I live here. My first visit was in early 1977 and the Space Museum had only been open a short time, today my trusty Lab and I go early everyday between 5.45 and 6.30 and walk. The Otero museum is very nice and informative. The Zoo is the oldest in the Southwest. People here are very friendly and we have some very good "local" restaurant's. I've lived here 6 years now, going on 7. Another great drive and if it's hot 20- 25 degrees cooler, Cloudcroft at 8,676 feet, also Sunspot Observatory is there and the town is very nice. Winters are a great time to visit if Summer heat gets to you. Good job on the Vid! Today? looking at 101 degrees. But tonight? 69-70 Always much cooler at night.

When you’re learning to fly in airplane, you’re a student pilot. That’s your first certificate actually a student pilot which means you can fly by yourself, but you cannot carry any passengers so maybe you’re a student drone pilot I’m not sure. I am a private pilot with an instrument rating and I have my part 107 for drones, I think technically I am in unmanned aerial systems operator. So maybe you’re a student unmanned systems operator. Good call getting the controller with the screen. The problem with operator from the phones are several. One the screens are small or smaller two they’re not bright and especially out here in Phoenix area. You’ve got a lot of bright sunshine three they overheat a lot when using the drones. I personally enjoy a big bright screen so I bought a 8 inch triple tech tablet that’s 1000 nits the screens on those things I believe or 700 are very brightscreen is around 200 nits consistent it can go up the newer phones can hop up to five or 600 but they won’t stay there all the time. Anyway, thanks for adding the drone video from the sky.

We don't camp that close to home, but another place you might check out that we love is called the boulders located West of Lake Pleasant and on the North side of Carefree Highway at Mile Marker 4. It's beautiful and there are miles of trails and even some old mines. Curious why you caption for this video was "Don't go here"? I didn't see anything negative about this spot in your video?

Would or how would you plug in youre block heater for youre duramax and does the cold affect the trlr and bike batteries?
@theroamingrussells29 күн бұрын
We follow the sun and the seasons, so our goal is always to avoid getting stuck in places below freezing. That being said- it can't always be avoided. Usually, if it drops below freeing it's only for a few hours or over night. The lithium batteries aren't supposed to be charged when they're below freezing, but otherwise they're good. You can get blankets and heaters if you camp in sub freezing temps. Bikes - same thing. And we aren't using them when it's cold, so no issues. The truck - if it was forcasted to be below 20 degrees (the recommended temp for block heaters), we would relocate. That's the great thing about being mobile - we can always move to warmer weather if we need to.
@theroamingrussells29 күн бұрын
To expand though, if we needed to plug the truck in, we could plug it into the RV with the inverter on
