A 100% truly representative video of a day in our life living in Mexico City.
This is the type of video that really captures what a day in our life living in Mexico City is like. Sometimes we ask ourselves why we make videos and knowing that we can look back at this in the future and seeing how happy we were with this life will always be worth it.
I hope you enjoy a glimpse into a very normal day living in Mexico City!
Also, let us know what you think about this video. I feel that since we are living the exact life we want to be living in CDMX, this type of video would inspire us to find a way to move to CDMX.
Thank you for watching!

Hey guys! Really enjoyed this video. I agree with you, walking Mexico City streets is such a privilege. I’ll be there next Wednesday and am spending a week with my close friend (an ex-pat as well)... I can’t wait to wander about CDMX streets again. On the v-day question, I’m not doing anything...don’t really celebrate anymore as I see it as another way for a consumeristic society (created/exported by the U.S.) to make people spend money that, frankly, many people don’t have! Don’t mean to put a damper on it but in the U.S. there are 500,000 homeless people... Wanna do something good for V-Day? Donate to a charity to help them. ☺️ . Btw, on the vegan food places, my friend is vegetarian and I was vegan when I lived there in 2018 (switched to more of a flexitarian now), anyway, she created this vegan/vegetarian Google Maps list of CDMX restaurants: www.google.com/maps/placelists/list/1RritL-GozGtT6JG-Ymvnxl2XmFY

Happy Valentines Day guys! I got my husband to watch it with me ☺️ and it was because of your videos that he constantly daydreams of moving to Mexico (to Querétaro to be specific since I’m from there) Today we will be watching probably How I Met Your Mother and some Dragon Ball episodes. We play video games a lot, so we will also be doing that (He enjoys a lot his PS5, and I’m so invested in my Animal Crossing game hehe) Do you guys ever feel homesick? And if you do, what do you do about it? I feel having some Q&A sessions at the end of each new Vlog would be nice 💜 thanks for being so cute and awesome you guys!

I love your video! I am thinking of moving to Mexico in a year or so. I have a dog, however, so that makes it a bit complicated. (He is also a golden!) Video recommendation: a video on your pup in Mexico. How does vet care work? Do rentals typically allow dogs? Where do you get dog food? How does it work having a pet in a country that's not native to you? Is there anything different from the USA that Americans should know when bringing pets?
@brbopo
@brbopo 2 жыл бұрын
Vet care is the same as in the US in my experience, you pick a vet, take your pup along with his vet record, if he needs shots they give those to him, plus check for whatever might need checking and give you an appointment for later if needed. You get dog food literally in the same places as in the US, supermarket, vet store, costco, etc, literally the same, same brands too. if you want a special diet or places that prepare dog food those are available as well in mexico city. How does it work having a pet in a country that is not native to you? The same as in most places I think, you take your dog out for walks, take a baggie to pick up after him, have him or her on a leash, feed him, take him to the vet, go to the dog park, let him play with other dogs, if you live in a small place be ready to take your dog out maybe more times a day, if you have a garden then maybe less times, apartment or small airbnb definitely take him out more often and to the dog park. The one think I will say is different in Mexico vs the US when it comes to pets, is that in places like petco or similar stores you don't see as many dogs with people in the actual stores, and also there's a lot more street dogs so when you're walking your dog be on the lookout for that, other than that american dogs seem to get along with mexican dogs more than american people and mexican people.

You asked so here goes: Please share with us any cooking schools there in Mexico City for tourists or residents. What's available? Can you guys continue to feature "Top 5" vlogs like Top 5 coffee shops, market vendors, street vendors both in rolling carts and stationary ones, clothing stores, shoe stores, smaller museums, night life venues, festivals, church buildings, medical facilities, artesans, and so on. Those are super fun to watch and learn from. Thanks

Glad to see you guys well in mexico.. Just keep in mind that you are living there because of the advantages and economic sense it makes to live there, The same way us Mexicans has to adapt and overcome the humiliations and stereotypes americans had of us you guys need to understand you have it ALOT easier than us.. In return be thankful to the waiters, maids, bank tellers, store clerks, homeless people by showing your gratitude. We had to to pay for it by paying illegal broder crossers, paying taxes while still being illegal with no benefits, paying thousands of dollarrs in penalties for illegally crossing, not being able to bury our mothers because od the restrictive travel laws, and even paying extra to real estate brokers to allow us to live in a white neighborhood. Gratitude shows in once actions..

silly question, but can you flush toilet paper down the toilet in mexico city? Im going at the end of March. Are those work out buddies americans living in mexico city?
@sergtana
@sergtana 3 жыл бұрын
I haven't been anywhere in Mexico City where you can't flush the toilet paper but usually in more rural places, you can't. If you can't, there might be a sign that says something like "please don't flush the toilet paper". Yes! The workout buds are all from the US except for one that's from London:)
