We’re on our western australia road trip, we’ve left Albany and Denmark behind, driven 5 hours west and arrived in Esperance. Esperance is home to the whitest sand beaches in Australia - yep apparently even whiter than The Whitsundays… It's also home to a now-not-pink pink lake, which is actually still a very cool place to explore - don't forget to bring some bird-safe food for Maggie! 😂
We finish the day with a sunset dip at Twilight Beach. Gosh we're really loving this coastline.
We’re staying in Esperance and in our next episode we drive further west still to camp in Cape Le Grand National Park. We FREE CAMP right on the beach at Membinup Beach (breathtaking!!!!!!!!!!!!!), explore Lucky Bay and find the resident kangaroos AND do a full day of beach 4wding including some of the biggest drivable sand dunes in Australia.
This stretch of south west WA is not only breathtakingly beautiful but also a hell of a lot of fun.
