@@tuberdumb7377 you would want to join more. I originally wanted to join Air Force but they have a waiting list that they put you in and would take months or maybe even years to get you started. Joining the Army would be the best choice to go if you don’t feel like waiting that long. I’m 18 And I want my MOS in engineering or mechanics. Can’t wait to join!!

I know this is sorta late, I just wanna say keep fighting, you are worth it. I've done that stuff to myself before and I hate to see anyone else having to go through it too. @@PWill Just like all MOS's in the Army. I'm asking because my wife is considering 35 series, and there's obviously a list of MOS's that fall under it.

Bryan Ramos 35F is the only Intel MOS that doesn’t have a clear hard skill. 35G know how to coordinate and look at maps. Take with that what you will....

Education will help you alot. You could go to college first. Having a degree is a big advantage in the military.

I want to go active duty but martial arts are a big part of my life, is there recreational martial arts on base?

I'm active duty Army. I used to compete in mma before I enlisted. The simple answer is not really, atleast for the bases I've been to. Most soldiers are into bro lifting and font give a shit about martial arts. Your best bet is to find a gym off post you can train at after work, but you'll quickly realize the Army is mostly long days with no schedule and shit constantly changing (last minute connex layout, barracks check, piss test, mandatory battalion recall cause some officer lost a radio and you can't go home til someone finds it, last minute field problem, deployment etc.), so you'll most likely have very little free time to train. Enjoy the shit show.

@@Rader233 yes, you can leave post on your free time. It's not actually prison. Just be prepared to be called back for minor inconveniences that usually aren't even your fault on a regular basis

@@Rader233 Just so you understand the mindset of the military, mass punishment is a very real thing even after basic training. If someone gets a DUI, gets in a bar fight, gets arrested, attempts or commits suicide, pops hot for drugs, loses a piece of equipment etc., it is very likely you will be called in at anytime (I've been waken up and forced to go to a platoon sized recall to work at 0230 for a bar fight I wasn't even at), and you HAVE to show up.
