This is the first episode of a day in the life of a gas engineer and on this episode I’m fitting a Hive multizone to an S plan plus system that is currently running a triple channel programmer, 2 hard wired stats and a cylinder stat…
The 10 way was its own pcb which made this job a little interesting as Iv never come across one of these before so just assumed I could cut the plugs off the components and re use them while re wiring the heating systm into a Wago 10 way wiring center…
I allowed all day for this job to cover any eventuality and it turns out it took me all day… check it out to see what happens and please like and subscribe..

Good Video, Love Wago wiring centre but I find it small. Use the bigger one called Wago L60 wiring centre. More space more fun 😂

Yeah so to connect to the stats you have to use the pairing setting of just one flash. Manually reset controller and pair.

Trick is to power up the hub first. Should have used a hive wired stat for the upstairs thermostat. Good vid though

How did you clamp the cables in the Hive receivers as there is no stand off plate ? I cannot find a stand off plate anywhere as stated in the installation instructions ?
