Why not start from orange and work backwards?
@boilerstobathrooms6267Күн бұрын
Why would you do that
@lostinthoughtscalminsilenc8167Күн бұрын
@@boilerstobathrooms6267 because if no power at orange work backwards from there. No point starting right start, more likely it’s the valve not switching because motor or valve had it. Hardly ever programmer

You forgot the part where you keep the new body as you’re sure you’ll use it elsewhere… but never do and it ends up living in the van for eternity 😂

The customer moved the microwave dowstairs and the boiler came on? 😅 so what was actually was the fault?
@boilerstobathrooms62672 күн бұрын
The customer had pushed the microwave against a switch they didn’t know was there cutting the boiler out

Good to know. I'll never have another Worcester Bosch boiler anyway, once this one is dead that is. Water always too hot or too cool depending on how much you open the tap. That's from brand new. Useless machine.
@ahyaan25523 күн бұрын
That may not be the boilers fault
@HughieMunro3 күн бұрын
If it’s under warranty get Worcester out to it, they have the best customer service of all the manufacturers. Been fitting them for years and never had a major issue with a new one.
@burgersnchips3 күн бұрын
@@HughieMunro been fitted since 2013, I might have missed the boat haha. As far as I can tell (I'm fairly technical but not a plumber) it doesn't seem faulty, it seems like a design flaw. It has only two speeds of gas but the tap can flow at any speed (to a limit). It's either heating on condensing mode or high power mode. If the water flow isn't right for the mode it chooses then you get what you're given. The knob on the front does limit the max temperature so it is possible to avoid getting scalded, so that's nice, but maybe I want a slight dribble of water at 40°, and that's not possible with this design.
@burgersnchips3 күн бұрын
With a tank you can pull water at any speed and you know what you're gonna get every time. Tank ftw

Slightly unrelated question. What causes low hot water pressure at the tap with unvented megaflo, cold water pressure is fine

And the gas fitters were trying to tell me my Ferroli boiler was crap despite it working flawlessly for over 7 years now. Everyone I know with a "premium brand" is always braking down

I'm in that 'ain't broke, don't fix it' situation as well. My hot water boiler is from 1981, still going strong. Owned it since 2008. Never needed to call anyone out for it.

My potterton flamingo is still working and was in the house when I bought it. I recon it’s from when it was built in the 80s. Not much to go wrong in it to be fair. About 7 parts.

Ferroli’s are crap. Your installer wasn’t wrong. Just because you’ve had a good one doesn’t mean they’re decent!

How can you tell if it's the combi valve and or the tprv. If water feels cold on tundish guessing it's combi valve if feels warm than tprv

This really shouldn't happen on a modern boiler. It's almost like they are manufactured to create call out charges

Just come across this short video. I have a same boiler as this, I messaged this guy explained my problem and he told me what is most likely wrong with it. So I replaced the heat exchanger plate and voila job done. He knows what he’s talking about. Thank you mate👍🏽.
