I was a group home manager for a place called T - Grove in Phx AZ for a year. Paid crap, got treated like crap and the place went out of business. They were real shady. This was in 1985 - 86.

Have any of you ever actually ever been in one? They are not as they seem. Unless they are adult group homes because the state believes adults way more than they believe kids.

Sucks that companies don't look after the caretakers like they should he's probably making a little bit about minimum wage, I worked in this industry for 6 years , it is rewarding and very hard work but it makes it harder when you're underpaid and understaffed it takes a toll on your mind so for anybody looking to get into this type of work do not do it, you will end up in a home like they live in.
