I think the whole "you're at a top ranked school so you're learning from the best of the best" needs to be taken with a grain of salt. Like, I go to a top-ranked college and honestly the best in the field often make for the worst educators. Like being good in your field does not correlate with being a good instructor. Plus, top ranked colleges are usually ranked for their research, and research colleges often mean professors are more focused on their research rather than their roles as professors.

@@serenatang5739 Well that is quite wrong haha. Princeton is known for their graduate programs, especially in Mathematics. Most if not all top-ranked schools have graduate programs. Also, top-ranked schools are ranked mainly based on the research opportunities they offer, the grants they acquire and the high impact faculty they can obtain. So my comment is very much relevant to Princeton. LOL Also, Princeton is not an undergraduate only institution.

I majored in economics and political science in undergrad and I can tell you don't skip your philosophy lecture. It is some of the most interesting stuff you will learn and will help you think about and understand the world in more ways than demand elasticity will. I went on to grad school at Hopkins and am now an economist at the bureau of labor statistics. Good luck with your studies and say hi to Dr. Brunnermeier, he helped me with one of my grad school papers!

Assuming those are 1000/2000 level classes, that’s quite an introduction to Econ, but that’s why you’re at Princeton. They must know everyone has a fairly rigorous math background. I will say that Economics at Florida State is taught in the college of social sciences, so the focus is definitely different.

First lecture was econometrics and probably taught at 3rd grade and second was microeconomics theory you should took that at 2nd grade i guess.

Oof I felt that moment of debating skipping one class for another- honestly though, this just goes to show how similar of experiences all students go through, but like you say we just gotta Don't Stress, Finesse our way through it all, life motto period. When solving problems on Notability are you allowed to turn them in like that? I always use notability for notes then homework I hand write. Also when do you use a laptop versus the iPad?
