This video is a window into our lives as vegetable farmers.
We work very hard raising many different kinds of vegetables and also taking care of our many different animals. My hope from this video is that you learn more about where your food comes from and how it is raised.
In this video we start with our egg laying chickens then we move onto the vegetables and we wrap up with washing potatoes that we freshly dug.
Thank you so much for watching, please like the video and subscribe as it helps me out so much!

I’m on a Veggie Boys Binge and loving your channel! I’m a 4th generation “kid” from a Century farm. My family grows about 3000 acres of fresh cherries in the Columbia River Gorge area in North Central Oregon. Unfortunately I work a desk job (accounting) in town now but oh how I miss the family farm! Your family and this farm is very special and I want to thank you for sharing your family and the harvest with all of us! Off I go to watch another Vlog, God Bless!

You have wonderful fertile soil, such a productive farm, with a huge variety of crops. I love how savvy your Dad is, selling the old corn stems for decoration and the spoilt cobs for squirrels. Good farmers are always wide awake to possibilities.

When I was a youth pastor (back when I was a youth myself) I served a church in New Jeresy from Nebraska Kansas area. I remember when I asked for sweet yellow corn the seller told me that yellow corn was field not sweet corn. I told him I use to helped my grand parents sell sweet corn that was always yellow. In fact I do not think white sweet corn could be found in Nebraska. But the seller would believe me, to him yellow sweet was any oxymoron. One of favorite Greek words.

A&R Farms Yes! We sell so many corn stalks that we needed a faster way to cut them. We used regular hand trimmers for a while but the chainsaw has the speed we need 😂

Plants free of water deficit events more efficiently absorb available plant nutrients enabling plants to achieve their maximum genetic potential. SWRT membranes installed below plant root systems retain water where it falls, providing continuous delivery of drought-free periods up to 3 times longer than intensely irrigated control sands without root zone water retention membranes (Guber et al, 2016).
