Brooke, I really admire you. You're doing what I wanted to do at your age. Now I'm 66 and disabled, so my time has come and gone. I've spent much of my life working alongside my husband, helping him make his dream happen to create a business (Fine art gallery and custom framing shop) (art framing . . . . so I've swung a hammer or 2 and have had to figure out the logistics of what will look good, last the longest and make the most sense, PLUS being able to think on your feet and outside the box. And I feel/felt lucky to work alongside my Sweetheart throughout my life) so I really enjoy watching you 2 work together. Also, you wear WONDERFUL earrings, grrl!! 🧡💛💚💙💜💞💖💞💜💙💚💛🧡

You both make filming look so easy, we forget what's involved when putting it together. Enjoyed the narrative. I tried Vaseline on a shepherds hook and the Grey squirrels actually appeared to be having fun sliding down the pole. Like you said, they wore it dry and up they went. My wife and I have kicked around the idea of starting one as we start our process of working on our new 20 acres of land, clearing it and starting to build a treehouse, cabinet and eventually a forever home. We love watching your channel and your calming content. It's always entertaining and relaxing.

If I were to ever visit lake superior I would do nothing but look at those rocks!!! I go up to the north georgia mountains and camp on the River and that's what I do. And man that guitar sounds so good. Love u and Brooke both of you are such an inspiration!!!!! Bout to start a cabin on our own property so so excited. My wife put a slinky on our bird feeder pole in an attempt to discourage the chipmunks. Well, they were able to still crawl up through the slinky, fill their pouches with goodies and then ride the slinky down like an elevator. It was fun to watch anyway. You have a special talent in making your videos where you can take what may seem like a mundane activity and make it very interesting, entertaining and also informative. Your narration is also what makes your videos so enjoyable. You have a relaxing style that just keeps everything interesting. I think you would have made an excellent teacher. I love the footage of the Lighthouse. I’m a lighthouse fanatic. I’ve gone to Maine several times to see lighthouses there. When I’m done with Maine I will head to Michigan, spend a week just looking at as many lighthouses as I can.

Yup, Pike Lake, we used to tent camp up there in the nineties. Before Crisp Point light was restored, you had to walk back to the light house from the end of the road,about two hundred yards down the beach .We've been back a few times since the completion. Nice area.

I'm not a You Tuber at all, but I loved watching this one. Loved seeing the different shots, and what makes them work. By the way, love your guitar, Dave, in the background. You're a great musician. Always love the shots of food cooking on the campfire or a wood stove. And of course, my favorite of all, was oiling the bird feeder pole then watching that mischievous chip monk half killing himself trying to climb up it! LOL!
