We spend the day with Joelinton after the Brazilian signed a new long-term contract at St. James' Park.
We joined Joe in the morning for his drive into the training ground before following him throughout the day as he put pen to paper on his new deal.

I'd be happy to see J7 stay at the toon until he retires, he is coming into his prime years, one of the best powerhouses in midfield in the world and he loves newcastle so much. We need a new joelinton shirt made to celebrate 🤣

So happy for Joe and for us!!! The joy on his face today compared to the day he initially signed for us is worlds apart. It’s so clear that he wanted to stay and we are so lucky to have him. Can’t wait to hear the cheer for him the next time he steps out at St James Park. My favourite player, consistently gives everything, every time. Looking forward to his return. 🖤🤍

What a nice bloke , good team spirit at the training ground with all the crocked players , just the man for our team a big central forward/midfielder who can’t be barged off the ball 🇧🇷 like most , I liked ASM often played in an unnatural position from left wing but I think big Joe fills those boots well for where we are at as a team , congrats 7J

I can't wait for next season the whole squad fit and we take teams apart. This season has been a leaning curve and the club has stuck together as one unit and still better position than before Eddie became manager. Just shows how impressive Eddie and his backroom team are💯💯💯💯💯

The respect I have for this guy is massive. During the Bruce era... I compared him to the fat kid in the park who doesn't like football but his mother insists he has a go, he was truly an embarrasment. But credit where it's due, he's turned it right around and his absence is one of the reasons we've slumped this season. He's a class player now.
