Wonderboy has to be the most humble fighter at the top of his UFC game. Top 10 in the world, title shots, millionaire and still picks up kids and trains them in between his training sessions. What a good dude.

@@scrimpy7692 This is a good question, as UFC pay has dropped. I would guess he does some business ventures outside of the UFC possibly, as would I if I were in his position (yet I am not as I'm not a professional martial artist at his skill level nor in his life). Yet I don't remember if he has commented on his financial/economical status either. However he is an instructor so maybe he does well with that as a business?

Love this guy, he encapsulates everything a martial artist should. If it's possible Stephen then could you do a Q&A on here at some point please? Maybe mention it in one of your videos then we can all write questions within the comment section which you could read then answer in a video. Just an idea anyway mate 🙂

how can anyone not be a fan of Stephen WonderBoy Thompson. That fact that he takes time out of his own day to pick up kids, and then train them as well. These kids have the best Sensei. He doesn't have the gold belt yet, but he's got a heart of gold.

Absolutely love Wonderboy. Many other fighters are working hard to improve themselves (which is fine) but what sets Wonder apart from everyone else is...he not only has the discipline to do that himself, but he also devotes so much time to the kids that he teaches so unselfishly. Stephen Wonderboy, you are truly a servant of the trade and true ambassador. Been a fan for a long time.

Besides the fact that stephen is such a role model of a guy, from an entertainment perspective, this is quality content. A view into the life of a champ is extremely rare, and it helps lots that Wonderboy is such a great guy, and teacher! Keep them videos coming champ, we cant wait!

Matt Mosley before wonderboy was in the UFC I remember reading a GSP interview. GSP said that wonderboy was the best striker that he had ever seen and even flew him up tristar to train w him for one of his training camps. I forget which fight it was for. It was enough for me to look wonderboy up. I remember right before his ufc debut, I thought well let’s see this guy that GSP spoke so highly about...And he got the head kick KO. I’ve been a fan ever since. GSP vs wonderboy would have been epic.

Stephen, you make martial arts fun. The kids you train, they are your kids each and everyone of them. You make it fun so they fall in love with it. You are a great instructor, sensei and great competitor. An inspiration to each and every one them. Someone they look up to.
