We are Linnea and Akela. Through the van build, I used my stubbornness and drive to show individuals that they, too, can convert a campervan by themselves and on a budget, with a lot of learning, rolling up the sleeves, and getting to work.
Our goal is to inspire individuals to chase their dreams... to break from societal limitations and live the life they truly desire.

Honestly, how hard you work inspires me. Van life is not easy, and filming everything you do -- setting the camera down and then walking back to it, editing, writing a podcast. All of that is a lot of work! But you were able to make it work.

OMG Linnea..... 8:01 My heart melted when you moved your arm & she threw hers on top of yours ....she said "I love you Mom"! I HEARD it all the way on the east coast! 🐾 ❤ 🐾 ❤ I've never seen so much love between a human & their fur baby & not so much as the human but from your fur baby. Akela LOVES you SO MUCH & your love for her is just as evident in every video.

“Sometimes it’s good to do things when you don’t want to.” Definitely. I struggle with agoraphobia and anxiety a lot and I had been pushing myself to get out of the house and go on drives in my car until recently when I got hit by a truck. I’m still recovering and now even more scared to leave my house but your videos always encourage me to push myself while also being patient with my growth because it takes time. This is going to sound odd, but I love watching you move your healthy body. I used to be healthy like you, but I got a spinal cord injury 7 years ago and I now lay in bed most of the time in pain and stuck. At least my bed is in my van so that's something. Watching your videos allows me to live vicariously and remember who I used to be. Thank you 💖🚙🇨🇦

We don't live out of our van but we just spent 3 weeks in Florida this past January...We found out pretty fast that it doesn't work well unless you keep up on the cleaning and organizing. Love the setup!

Being a Dog Lover, my heart melted at 7:45 to 8:07. Akela is such a good girl and loves her momma. I know that drive all to well, it will wear you out. You take good care of yourself and if you don’t feel like doing it, don’t!

Hi kiddo!! I can say that because I'm coming up on 60 in June. Life is full of surprises and possibility. I hope for great things in your future. Remember to keep away from users, scammers and covert narcissists. Ask your counselor about how to spot them because they are very flattering at first. You are a shining light and I don't want anyone to diminish that. Don't waist your precious time playing their game or even trying to defend your integrity against any slander. When this happens don't take the jealous jabs personally. Just walk away. Remember you are blessed😎

Have you tried using a shop vacuum on Akela? Maybe a carwash vacuum? or maybe a Leaf Blower out in the wild somewhere. Just ideas for you.

As a former film student this was possibly your best looking vlog yet! Your really getting good at this. Quick tip if you don’t mind me adding. Purchase a cheap variable ND filter for your daytime activities. It will keep your shots from being over exposed and show the true beauty of the landscape.
