The food is really good when you start to dance while eating! Also, eating two servings of pierogi at once? Give that man a polish citizenship, like right now!

it's totally fine for you to eat pierogi with chopsticks. for me it's heartwarming to see people from other cultures enjoy ours in their own way so feel free😇. a little tip from me is to try frying pierogi on a frying pan with a little of butter. ones with potatoes and cheese prepared this way are my favourite😉 so crunchy. enjoy your time in Poland❤

Dumplings are east asian invention. Same with pasta. It is more about orginal way of eating it than mixing cultures
@3Andzia3
@3Andzia3 2 жыл бұрын
You think that Polish dumplings are the same as East Asian dumplings? X"DD Or that some Pole went over to, I dunno, China, and stole the recipe? X"DDD In like, 1000s? X"DDDDD These are two similar dishes being invented in two vastly different cultures; eating Polish pierogi with chopsticks is mixing cultures, similarly how eating any of the East Asian dumplings with a knife and a fork would be. Nothing wrong about it, either.

@@3Andzia3 No. Dumplings came to Poland with Mongol invasion from China in middle ages. Our polish dumplings are diferent but it is not our orginal idea.

My husband has black hair. Also on the legs. Throughout his life, he didn'tt think that it's embarrassing ;) Of course, he always wears long pants to work and to official meetings ... but jogging and the gym ??? Believe me, nobody in Poland pays attention to it :) Feel free.

Huh, I've never heard about black hair on legs being embarrassing. I'm glad you enjoy pierogi! I think boiled ones are more popular. Also ones with cabbage and mushrooms are awesome imo.

Only 1,5 month left? It's so sad. What will happen to your channel when you return to Japan? Anyway, polish summer is very hot, but you won't feel it on the Baltic Sea, because it is cooler in summer and warmer in winter.Come back to Warsaw and then You can feel it.

The best dumplings are (imo) those with cabbage (pierogi z kapustą). Or with cabbage and mushrooms (pierogi z kapustą i grzybami). Kapusta kiszona (Pickled cabbage, Sauerkraut) is our Polish type of kimchi, but very mild in taste. Eat hot! Eat them with fried onions and „skwarki” - scratchings, local variant of pork rinds. And as the predecessors wrote, don't mix it with potatoes. Eating dumplings with potatoes is like sweetening rice. It's not a Polish taste. Replace the fries with some kind of salad, coleslaw (like from KFC) will be OK. A cup of hot red borscht (barszcz czerwony) goes well in winter. Itadakimasu!

Eating pierogi (cheese and potatoes) with fries (potatoes) is like pouring ketchup on tomatoes🤣 Okay, I know, we coat pizzas in Poland with garlic sauce. Apparently everyone has their own quirk :-)

There is no reason for being embarrrased with your leg hair 😛 You have probably seen some polish man with light, blond hair on their legs but please - note that in Poland people have many different types of beauty, followed by many different hair colours - from blond to brown, ginger and even black sometimes. That means we are really used to see any leg (or arm) hair type and none of them are considered ugly or embarrassing in our understanding (at least when it comes to male leg hair 😜). I assure you, nobody will even take a look at yours 🙂

Did you know that "Pierogi ruskie" (Russian pierogi) exists, but they are really Polish, not russian? XD
@orangenyellow8909
@orangenyellow8909 2 жыл бұрын
Technically, if you would like to translate "pierogi ruskie" into English, it would be "ruthenian pierogi", not "russian pierogi'. You can even hear it in Polish - it's "pierogi ruskie", not "pierogi rosyjskie". It's because the dish comes from Red Ruthenia (Ruś Czerwona in Polish) - historical land that included part of Poland and part of Ukraine. That is why it's considered as a national dish of both coutries nowadays. Pierogi have actually nothing to do with Russia - neither in wording nor the origin.
