A typical training day at the velodrome. Getting back in to training after the Milton Nations Cup. We have a few more weeks of prep before we fly down to Argentina for PanAm Championships!

In competition. Does the chainring size differ for Keirin and individual sprint?

Can't reply for Sarah, but many sprinters will use a higher gear for keirin as you are brought up to speed behind the derny so a big kick from a lower speed isn't necessary. Sprint gear can be affected by your chosen/expected tactic; long wind-up might favour a high gear, late kick might favour a smaller gear, but every individual rider will differ in their preferences.
