I recently broke up with my girlfriend. I knew it was coming to an end and I think she did to. We still love each other dearly but it wasn’t healthy for either of us. As one of the lyrics in the song say ‘Kept all the last mistakes held inside’. To which I did. All the violence towards me, all the bruises, the broken nose. I kept everything bottled up and to myself. I thought I brought it upon myself. No one should cope with it for years. ‘I still wish you the best of luck, baby And don't go thinking this was a waste of time I couldn't forget you if I tried’. I could go on about how so many of the lyrics hit home with me but I won’t carry on. But I have been listening to this song so much recently!

*sigh* well, I just came out from a relationship and... I don't know how to describe it...but it's like I've been emptied from a long time ago. I can't feel anything for someone, can't feel nothing true since a long time. And all that is because people always failed me when I didn't, they fulfilled me with words of faith and they turned out to be lies. But the most painful part is when you remember those: "I love you" or "I will always be here" from the voice of your now ex girlfriend and you analyze how words become lies or become useless words that lost their meaning blew with the wind. I think we all should take care of ourselves, be happy or try our best to be okay with who we are, because once you give everything to someone you just feel like all the effort you did...meant nothing. My biggest advice here is to take care against words and believe in actions. Everyone can lie but not everybody does stuff for you. Thanks for reading me and get well from your breakups. Wow, I found this song and it was so convenient. I just recently got out of a relationship, and it got so bad and I was so in love that I wanted to kill myself when she broke up with me. I was torn to pieces and all my friends around me couldn't help me. This song might as well be written for me. I heard this song and the first thing I did was send it to her. I told her "If It Means A Lot To You" and this song (in that order) was the story of us. She still insists on being friends with me, and that's okay with me, except her mom hates me, we're 14, and she lives like an hour away. Everyday I wake up crying because I love her and it hurts so bad. The only things that save me from killing myself are those two song, and this other song called "The Distance That Took You Away" by SayWeCanFly. I almost can't live with myself because I blame myself for all of what happened to me. And to this day, I STILL cut over her, even though it's been about 3 months and everyone is telling me to either get over her or get rid of her.
