It was too late. When she found those underwear and bloody glove and jewelry, she had time to drop it off to the police. Did she do that? No. She sort of was her own undoing. The girl was the only actress I liked. Her development in the script was simple. The husband/Killer was horrible. If he was so intent on not being caught he would have never left the evidence where the wife could find it. Putting the detective body in her car was bad enough but truthfully, the partner should have arrested him on suspicion because when they pulled up on him outside of the building, he spoke to the cop about fixing his car. The plot was a good idea just not carried through properly. I liked it enough to want to see the second one despite it's flaws.

I don't think the wife was clueless. She did her best. The detectives were stupid. I thought the woman detective would have been killed too.

Target the writer of this script! I think the wife & the little girl were good actress'. Even that best friend alexis .. the script was WAAACK!!

I think the eye the detective pulled out was that of the girl's real father. When she went to see him, he had one eye. So both the biological and Stepdad were killers including the daughter and the Mom's friend. The ending was too abrupt though. Both detectives were foolish and were careless about how they executed their job. The information came to them on a platter and it was overlooked....very poor investigations!
