I wish the AV-30 was IFR certified….why not go through the certification process for that Uavionix??

What is not IFR certified about the AV-30? It’s a certified AI replacement for anything.

Correct, AV-30 is certified IFR (TSO) as an Attitude Indicator and Heading Indicator.
