A delicious recipe for making Shepherds Pie while backpacking. This is easy and low waste. This recipe uses ingredients that are bought in bulk in advance so that there is less packaging waste. Try it in advance and then portion it out for use on the trail. It is easy to make quickly on a backpacking stove and provides a nice warm and nutritious meal.

-Mountain House Cooked Ground Beef (www.amazon.com...)
-Spices - you should have these around your house although you may want a small Nalgene bottle for carrying them (www.amazon.com...)
