Great tutorial on that particular hydro block ...would be nice to see some live short circuit testing with faulty pumps/fans/etc.. if possible. Thanks Allen and Roy for your time 👍

Thanks for upload very informative, however the magnetic turbine suggests its inductive pulse rather than hall effect, as it uses light (LED). Correct me if I've got it wrong. Great demos though.

Thanks Roy and team, great session. Two queries please on the Potterton plastic hydro lock , the same or very similar to the one shown in the video. Is there supposed to be water in the diverted valve, assume not. I tried to remove the diverter cartridge as you demonstrated in the video to no avail, is it possible and is there any other trick. For clarity I have already removed the three sided rectangular clip which holds the diverted cartridge. Thanks in advance for your advice

Is it a simple repair when it leaks from the bypass between lh and rh hydro blocks

Hi Anthony, Yes once you have drained the boiler, remove the plastic 'Y' shaped clip the slide the by-pass pipe to the left that will give you access to the 'O' ring, (sorry don't have a part number for it). If that doesn't cure the leak you can replace the by-pass pipe assembly (part No 720777001) the easiest way to do that is to remove the hydroblock.
