At 5:25 its great that Magnetic Racing are spelling out the scales at 1:64 and 1:32. Saying 1:32 is normal and we are used to it , but so much better to say 1:64 rather than HO that raises confusion with HO scale trains that have been 1:87 for near a hundred years. 1:87 being half the British O scale trains using 1:43.5 . The micro Scalextric range in there catalogue also only refers to 1:64 also not wanting any uncertainty to arise. Or maybe even not have legal problems with the UK Trade Descriptions Act. Hard to convince AFX and existing users of these types of cars and tracks though.

The issue there is that in no way are the cars from AFX and Micro Scalextric 1/64 scale. Look at the Micro Scalextric Bimi for example. Put the new AFX Sauber F1s next to a Sparky diecast, which are 1/64, of the same C43 and tell me the slot car is the same scale!

Doing what? He’s giving people news about Slotcars and products. His news isn’t about him, if you prefer to watch someone talk about themselves and how many companies they’ve worked for(strangely no longer works for) stick to what you like. If you don’t like it, don’t watch it and don’t comment. This childish attempt to try and ruin Travis channel is not going to be good for the hobby.
